Very impressed
- This is a very nice powerful vehicle jump starter for the price & has many handy features built in. Such as the AC and DC power along with the single 110v outlet and 2 USB ports. Even a power converter that’s great in an emergency situation and portable 12V tire inflator as well as using the 110V side to plug in a lamp using a 50 watt bulb. The built in light is very bright for those dark nights. It’s quite amazing to have an inverter also built into this product. This should have no problem jump starting all kinds of cars as well at trucks. It is very well made and solid product. Compared to other battery car starters I have had in the past this is small and light weight. I love that it even comes with its own personal durable hard case that keeps everything together and safe. I like that it has an on/off switch for the device and both a button to turn on the AC inverter outlet and another button for the DC outputs. Less likely to drain the battery by accidentally leaving the outlets on. Will have to check this over time to see how long it holds a usable charge until needing to be recharged. Only way to charge it is using the 110v power adapter cable included. Would be nice to be able to charge using an auto cigarette lighter plug or USB cable so it can be left charging in the car for when it is needed. This would be a great addition to anyone's Emergency kit in there vehicle which is exactly where this went, I will never have to worried about being stranded somewhere without power ever again.

I wouldn't buy the BP101 for the 110 vac function.
I want to describe my use so far of the BP101 jump starter and not a lot of detail on how to use it. The BP101 came with the described items. The wall charger, cigar lighter, jumper cables and a nice carrying case. I charged my iPhone from 50% and it used about 30% of the BEATIT charge. I attempted to jump start an 8 kW electric start generator and this jump starter spun the engine over like it was nothing. Makes sense since it's supposed to start a diesel engine. The generator didn't start so it still needs some work. The flashlight is a nice feature but I don't see me ever needing an SOS or strobe light function. This is why I wouldn't buy it to use the AC power outlet. I turned on the AC outlet to see the discharge it had on the jump starter. It ran the BP101 battery completely down from a fully charged state over night. I connected a KILL A WATT EZ to it and saw that it was putting out about 114 vac, a frequency of 63 hz and power factor of 1.0 with no load. I plugged the fireplace logs fan into it and checked it again. With the fan running it showed 116.6 volts, 65 hz, .59 power factor, .65 amps and 46 watts. I'll let the electrically trained comment on these numbers but don't like the high frequency. Bottom line, even though I don't like the 110 volt inverter I think it will function fine for what it was intended to do which is jump start engines.

Works great UNLESS you want to jumpstart something.
I had this item for quite a while before I ever had the need to actually use it to jumpstart anything. I will say, the battery works great for recharging phones and such with the USB outputs and I was able to run the pump for my air mattress with the cigarette lighter adapter. Even the AC inverter works great with small things. HOWEVER, the very first time I used it to jump start a car there was a loud pop and the smell of burning electronics. I don't know what exactly happened but it was limited to the jumpstart function. everything else still works. I bought it mainly for it's jumpstarter capabilities though so it's a big waste of money now. Since it was so long after my purchase I contacted the company directly instead of just returning it through Amazon. It's been months and I've yet to get a response from them. Buyer beware!

Was very handy when electric went out!
It was great as far as the accessories! My electricity went out I could plug a lamp into it! Also you can charge your phone on it! USB! The cable that they give you is not the right one unless you have a wider plug in but you can still use the USB! Also you can charge your tablets! It has two USB Outlets! Also has a light which you can strobe for emergencies or a regular light! The power goes down very fast! Which is the only thing I did not like about it! I did not get a chance to jump anything yet! But at 2200 amp it should jump vehicle at least! Do not buy anything less than 2,200 amp! The smaller ones all they're good for is lawn mowers and four wheelers! IF THAT!

DOES IT HAVE THE RIGHT OPTIONS?
Let me start off by saying their product came as advertise very quickly. Grade A for shipping, even tougher case for carrying behind your seat or truck. It truly is an amazing product. It says you can even use it with your CPAC. Would be nice if it is true, were talking house current! Allot of other power stations do not offer an AC plug! So, when I read about this it was a no brainer. Now the reason for the 4 stars. Guys you have all the right components for multiple uses, you forgot to incorporate a wireless charger, maybe a design where the phone would sit recessed to charge to prevent it from sliding going down the road? Or Do you already have a higher capacity charge station with wireless charging for phones and other things? Sincerely, Patrick Clark

Compact car starter and device charger
Compared to battery car starters I have had in the past this is small and light weight. I've had a Tesla Model X for almost 4 years now and one of the few issues I have experienced is the 12v battery going bad which causes various issues for the car including not being able to start it, same as in a gasoline car. Saw this Beatit 12V car Jump Starter on sale on Amazon a couple weeks ago and it sounded like a good idea especially since it also has a single 110v outlet and 2 USB ports. Been playing a bit with it but haven't had the need to jumpstart a car with it yet but I did hook up my multimeter to it. Fully charged I got 109.5v from the AC outlet and 16.6v DC from the the engine start cable output. The blue USB port (5v/9v/12v) worked well in charging my iPhone 11 Pro Max. I used a USB port meter which showed the black 5W USB port puts out 5.14v/21mAh and the blue USB port labeled 5v/9v/12v puts out 5.13v//21mAh. I tried using the 110v outlet to charge my 2019 Macbook Pro and that didn't work since my Mac would notify as charging and then stop charging immediately and cycle through that continuously until I turned off the AC outlet. So this outlet isn't able to provide quite enough power for a large laptop. The inverter outlet worked fine powering a lamp with a 3way bulb up to 100 Watt. At 100W the Beatit lasted about 45 minutes before the LED meter on it showing 1% charge. The case was very mildly warm to the touch after this. Then plugged in with the power adapter and it has so far taken almost 2 hours to get to a 50% charge, and about 3.5 hours to finish fully charging.

Convenience AND peace of mind. A bargain
I have really enjoyed this battery - and just wanted to list a few pros 1: Lighter than expected. Weighs less than 2 16.9 fl oz bottles of water in your bag 2: Can charge my laptop to full at least once (Surface laptop) which is crucial for working anywhere 3: Dual 2.4A USB that charges at a decent clip or use the full size outlet for an even bigger charger 4: charge it and then tuck it away in your trunk until you need it - and it happens to jump start your car - useful for me during these quarantine times where I may not jump in my car for a month or two at a time - plus I live in a city and walk anywhere so I will definitely feel better having this with me. Overall really happy with it and its many use cases.

Will start anything
This is a very powerful car starter. Buy it, leave it in your trunk. Eventually someone will need a jump start, and you will be that hero. This is also more of a swiss army knife, electrically speaking. Jump start a car? Sure. Charge your cell phone? Sure. Laptop? Sure. Power your TV when the power fails? Sure. The 120V AC outlet is (not perfect but..) a fantastic add on. Well worth the extra money, just because who knows where you will be, and need a 120v outlet? I didn't. This little device saved me. My ONLY complaint is that there is no way to charge it from your car. The unit needs an 18V charger, and your car's output is, at most, 14v. BUT, it would be FANTASTIC if this did have a 12v adapter that allowed you to plug it in and charge it from your car. I understand why they do not have a 12v plug; But in a later version, it would be nice. In this version It simply isn't electricaly feasible. So, Long story Long: This jump started a strangers car. This powered my big TV in a3 day power outage. This charged my phone at work when no USB outlet could be found. It is worth the extra money for the amps and for the AC outlet. Not perfect, but is a great thing to have in your car. I plan on buying many of these things and giving them away as gifts. Update: 3/24/2021. Loved this at first. Now? The DC seems to stop after 20 seconds of use. It successfully jump started 2 cars. Never again. 100% charged battery, with a moderately drained car battery, this unit failed. Again, and again. 6 different cars over the winter. All the same. The jump start recognized it was about to jump a car, and failed. 6 times. Now, when I turn the DC button on, it works for 20 seconds. Under any load. Electric heater? Fail in 20 seconds. Small 4" DC cabin fan? 20 seconds. Trying to charge your computer? LOL 20 Seconds. SO... Works great, for 2 jump starts. Then, apparently it develops problems. I really loved this, and that makes writing this so damned hard.
