My first impression of this Helichrysum essential oil was a little surprising. Straight from the bottle, it had a medicinal, almost cough-syrup-like scent that made me wonder if I would enjoy it. Fortunately, the fragrance changes considerably once it's used in a diffuser. As it disperses through the room, the aroma becomes much warmer and more inviting. I noticed soft honeyed floral notes mixed with earthy herbs and a hint of sweet dried hay. The scent feels calming, natural, and slightly reminiscent of a sunlit meadow filled with wildflowers. It's unique without being overpowering and creates a peaceful atmosphere. While the bottle aroma isn't my favorite, the diffused fragrance is lovely and much more balanced. If you're considering this oil for aromatherapy or diffusing, don't judge it by the first sniff alone—it truly shines once it's in use.

This is a good example of Helichrysum gymnocephalum. Most persons looking for this are usually looking for "immortalle" which is a different version of the same flower. This one is a good for breathing and sinuses and is reminiscent of eucalyptus and camphor, though it is much less irritating and definitely might go to. It does not help for bruises and skin healing that way the other version does, but also usually cost a fraction of the price.

Finally decided to write a review to hopefully spare someone from making the same mistake that I did. I was searching for good Immortelle oil to use in my cosmetics projects. This one was well priced and my order arrived fairly quickly. I was so excited to finally use this until I opened and smelled it. I was expecting a warm, honeyed, slightly herbaceous aroma, but it was very VERY sharp and camphorous instead. It wasn't until I scoured over the label that I found this oil is made from "Helichrysum Gymnocephalum". H. Gymnocelphalum is much closer to Eucalyptus in scent profile. The product information even describes the oil as smelling warm, honey-like, and buttery, though that's only for "Helichrysum Italicum". While this isn't a bad oil at all and very high quality, it's just not the Immortelle I think most are trying to get ahold of.

I’ve had tinnitus in my left ear since march, like an engine sound noise and it has been driving me crazy! I went on a bunch of medications, saw an ENT doctor and did ear acupuncture as well and nothing worked, I was reading on Reddit and I read that if you use this oil behind you ear it help a lot with the noise, I thought why not…I’m willing to try anything at this point, let me tell you!! I was not expecting much results at all! My tinnitus is completely gone! I’ve been using it everyday 2 times a day for 4 days now and the engine noise in my ear has disappeared! This oil is magic!

I bought this to help with visible veins on my legs, hoping to make them less visible by using Helichrysum Oil. But I found that I would not consistently use it, as I really do not like the strong medicinal smell of the oil. Even closed up, the smell emanates from the bottle to the bathroom drawer and with the drawer closed, I still smell it in the bathroom! I finally put the bottle in a ziplock bag in the drawer and rarely use the oil because I don't want to smell like medicinal oil. So I cannot comment on it's effectiveness as I do not consistently use it just because of the smell.

I ordered this because i heard of the healing powers for the older skin. It really does help with bruises and small spider veins. I would apply daily for the first couple of days then about every other day until gone.
