Great product at a good price. Now Foods is a quality company and very trustworthy. I've gone through 2 containers of this stuff and am currently on my third. I will use this as long as it's available.Beetroot powder is a natural source of nitrates which increase nitric oxide and boost endurance.I stack this stuff with citrulline malate and taurine before a workout for a cheap and effective stack. It boosts endurance and lessens fatigue. This combo is as good or better than most expensive preworkout powder mixes. You can also stack this with a preworkout like NO Explode, but if drink them separately as this powder will ruin any flavored mix you may have.The taste really is strong and chalky. This isn't unique to Now's powder. All beetroot powders taste like this.Now gives you an accurate amout. I weighed the empty container I had and it weighed 61 grams. The new full container weighed 404 grams. A lot of companies cheat you in amount, so it's good to know that Now is honest.Great product, give it a shot.

Love this stuff. I do notice a boost of energy if I drink before a workout. I feel like it is improving my blood pressure. Shout out to the beet root powder for that. I do love that this product is only beet root powder and nothing else. The packaging is super annoying though as the opening is small especially if the serving size is a tablespoon. It make is hard to get out especially when there is a little powder left at the bottom. I wished they packages it like vitalProtein with a wider mouth and paper products but I guess if they did that you would see it’s not that much and is a little expensive for the amount

I've been very happy with this one. I can't take it as often as I want because I worry about kidney stones, but I don't mind the flavor I just mix it in a little dixie cup with some water and swallow it. I can't feel that in just a short amount of time.It really helps.

This really helps gain muscle mass & eliminates a majority of soreness and fatigue after workouts!I hit a strength plateau in my workouts where I didn't have energy to do more sets or lift heavier. The personal trainer at my gym suggested I take two (2) scoops of NOW Waxy Maize in water (on an empty stomach) before my workout. After my workout I blend one (1) scoop of NOW Waxy Maize into a smoothie along with avocado and a scoop of protein powder. 2 scoops before gym, one scoop after.I find that the Waxy Maize acts like a mild pre-workout formula in that it gives me more energy and muscle stamina to complete more reps.In 4 months of bulking, lifting 3x a week for about 50 minutes per session... I have gained 15 lbs and it's definitely not all fat, there is clear muscle growth. Other than the Waxy Maize on workout days, I mostly avoid carbs (sugar, fruit, rice, potatoes) except for honey & Hi Maize resistant starch, etc. I credit the Waxy Maize for a lot of it.Another great benefit is that I don't feel excessively sore after my workouts. Before I would often hesitate to meet up with friends in the evenings on workout days because I was really achy and fatigued. Now I feel a little bit sore, but still functional and socialable. Great supplement, highly recommended.

Could be better I don't really like the bottle packaging or the design but it is what it is it's in a quality beetroot not really it's pretty much generic but it works if you want to get your nitric oxide in and it's a good natural source okay bye

I hate beets, but this stuff is good. I add it to turmeric and black pepper water. It adds a slight sweetness, and as long as I don’t overdo it, I can barely tell that it’s beets. If you add a bit more it does have a bit of a wild taste…<that wild beet taste> and some of yous like beets, so that’s all good. Sure it may clunk up a little bit in the bottle like some have complained, but that hasn’t presented a cause for complaint for me, as they are soft chunks that are easily broken. Put the handle of a spoon in there and chop it around a little bit, it comes out smoothly. Unlike many that I see, I actually enjoy the earthy taste. I would purchase again and do recommend.
