be careful where you install them
Although I am rather disappointed, i still gave the item 5 stars, The numbers are very strong and will last through any kind of weather mother nature can throw it's way. mounting was very simple. I'd certainly recommend.I have mine installed on a wooden facade. My house faces South, and is on an upward slope from the road. so you are looking up at the house, and it is in the sun for long periods of time throughout the day. When the sun hits the letters. it casts a shadow behind each number, as it should. depending what angle you are looking at the house from, the dark letters and shadows behind the letters make it very difficult to read. When the sun is not directly shining on them, the numbers look fabulous. but the sun is the minor detail that takes away from the overall appearance. keep that in mind when installing with the offsets. maybe spreading the numbers further apart would help. For now, I don't feel like prying them out of the wood to relocate. I'll deal with it for now. (you could always mount the letters directly to the surface with construction adhesive or the like. Don't necessarily have to drill holes or hammer into place. hope this helps

Bold, Clean, Crisp! Perfect house numbers
This was perfect for our application on our beach house on the bluffs. The numbers came well packaged and in great condition. I did have one of the mounting screws that would not screw in straight. Contacted the Betlight and they immediately sent out another set of the mounting screws. That is what I rate as a fabulous company. These numbers are a high quality house number that really stands out against the painted cedar siding and the stained cedar above. I used the supplied templates of the numbers, checked to make sure they matched the numbers themselves (they did). I then made a cardboard template of the entire space, placed the numbers where we wanted them, used an awl to mark them, put the template against the siding, use the awl again to make starter holes and drilled away. The only problem I had was the cedar siding, even with a very sharp drill bit, still allowed it to slightly step away from the hole. All in all, we are very happy. Great instructions, very easy to install, I just drilled a hole slightly smaller than the size of the shaft and pressed them in and at the very end had to use a hammer with a towel to protect the finish, set them in and done!!!!.

Gorgeous looking but beware of shadow
I bought 4 of these for my house. My previous house number is powder coated but they completely got worn down due to sun damage over time. These are milled aluminum with anodized color so they should last a lot longer. The numbers are big and bold and simply looks great even from across the street. I really love the beveled edge that makes it easier to handle and adds subtlety when close. The only thing is the shadow it casts since this is only installed as raised letter. During a few hour in the day at certain angle, the shadow makes the number look at a lot bigger and kind of weird. Hopefully the manufacture will add a non-raised option later.

Look Great 2 Years Later
Did a custom house numbering project placing the numbers on a stained, sealed wood board.Happy to say 2 years later they still look great after being the sun and winter elements.

Buy the Numbers
The metal numbers are thick, sturdy, and good looking. Under my garage lights, you can see the 6 inch numbers from across the street. When you install the numbers, the instructions do not indicate any size drill bit. I used a 1/4 inch bit. The provided anchors will fit tight in the 1/4 inch hole. I used a hard rubber mallet to tap in the anchors and to pound in the numbers without using a towel or soft material. It was tough getting those pegs into the anchors but once in it will tough getting them out. Love the product and my new address numbers.

Easy and good looking
They look fantastic and they are super easy to install. Mounted these on aluminum/steel siding. Predrilled holes with 11/64” bit and then tapped the metal mounting pins into the siding with the palm of my hand. Didn’t use the concrete anchors, just tapped straight into the siding. One tip: once you stick the templates in place, make a mark with sharpie just in case a template falls off (one of mine did). Enjoy!

MOUNTING IS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT FOR AMATEURS
Very difficult to mount these numbers. You have to drill holes for plastic wall anchors. Getting the drill bit to drill a hole in the exact dimension necessary is extremely difficult. I gave up as I could not keep drilling holes into my exterior wall. I ended up glueing the numbers to the wall (luckily I had a flat surface, not brick or angled siding). I suggest they include a metal template to use as a drilling fixture. I’ll bet this took three hours to mount three numbers. Many trips back and forth to garage and a trip to the hardware store. The quality of the numbers is fantastic. They look great.

Beautiful and simple to install
These numbers look great and were really easy to install.I installed the numbers directly into solid wood by drilling an 11/64” hole and did not use the wall anchors. After drilling the holes, I threaded the posts into the numbers then used the palm of my hand to tap the numbers into place. It took no more than 20 minutes from start to finish.
