Grill Light for Kamado Joe 1 & Older Big Green Egg (R)

great addition; do find it a little frustrating to have a side light and have to push the button 2 additional times each time I turn off and then want to turn back on, but it's such a good light that works so well on the grill I won't deduct a star for the minor irritation

Got this for my husband for Christmas. I searched high and low for a good fit, read reviews on several and settled on this one. Best purchase ever! Easy installation, ease of use and lights up the entire cooking surface. Highly recommend it. Just be sure to pop the light out and bring it inside after use as it's not waterproof. Fits perfectly on the kamado joe (regular size, not sure about the huge one)! :)

I have been needing a good light on my Kamado Joe Grille. This works perfect for what I need. No more holding a flashlight in my mouth to check my food.

Perfect gift for anyone in your life that has just become a prouder owner of a ceramic egg-shaped grill. I purchased this light as a gift for my Dad who has a Kamodo Joe, but I believe this would work for a Big Green Egg or any other brand as well. My Dad really likes that the light detaches without having to detach the hardware. Great value.

May 18th 2017 - This review is just for the light holder assembly. It fits the Pit Boss perfectly... Will test the light and update the review in a 4 weeks.. the longest any of my previous grill lights have lasted ;) Aug 27th - 3 months rather than 4 weeks... And it still works.. the light itself doesn't seem water proof so I have been storing it indoors but the holder is study...!!

This provide a very bright light that is directed at the center of your BGE when the lid is open. No more fumbling in the dark! I would have given it 5 stars, but for some reason they added a side light, which does nothing but make you turn the light on and off one additional time because there is only one push button. Push it once, the main light comes on, push it again the main light goes off. (they should have stopped here), but, push it a third time, the side light comes on, push it a forth time and the side light goes off. So, every time you want to light your grill surface, you have to push the button three time to cycle it back to the main light! Drop the side light so it's a simple on/off and the product would be perfect!

I am a bit of a gadget guy and have a lot grill accessories. This is without question the most valuable. It puts the light right where I need it. I wonder how I BBQ’d before I got my Grill Light.
