Spiritual Realities, Volume 1-5: The Spiritual, Mystical and Supernatural

This book should be an integral part of all Christian counseling. On a personal note: I used to be in therapy. After finishing years in therapy, I understood that it was good and needed help. But it wasn't enough. Some of my mental problems was caused by some of the teaching I had received - and theology I had created myself. What was the problem? The splitting of the mind. Common theology across denominations, are heavily influenced by the Greek - and therefore Gnostic - philosophy. One is trained to think in a way that views the spiritual world as superior, and the natural world as inferior. Eberle teaches why this is both unbiblical and unhealthy. He teaches that it is very important to discern good and bad things. But in order to be able to do this, one must be aware that one may be under the influence of Greek thought instead of/together with Jewish and biblical thought. This leads to unhealthy splitting in a number of ways - also when it comes to reading the Bible. You will learn to accept yourself and discern yourself - good and bad. The same can be said about the world we live in, and the natural and spiritual realm. Ops! I just split reality in an unbiblical way in the former sentence. This book is so rich with healthy and biblical teaching, that a short review cannot cover it all. Why not just buy the book and read it? It will make you think and feel as a whole person again = therapy.

I loved this book! The shift in understanding I can be fully united in complete fullness with the Holy Spirit instead of fragmented into layers of less than and more than is incredibly empowering. The connection to the heavenly Kingdom and the unity that brings relationally made me realize that in that connection my connection to my spouse is enriched. This book broke down dualism and the flourishing effect is completeness in Christ period. No more barriers, no more dividing myself into worthy and unworthy parts. God loves me, He sent His one and only begotten son Jesus to die for me and there is power in focusing my body, soul, and spirit on Him. My heart feels that freedom and my intercession and prayer life is filled with God's fullness. This book helped me to understand who I really am and how God really wants to connect with me completely. I am an artist and I want heaven to be released on earth as it is in heaven thru my artwork and now I have a biblical foundation to stand on for the truth of that desire becoming a reality! Thank you Harold Eberle, this book has expanded and helped me step more fully and confidently into my God given destiny! What a blessing!

The Spiritual, Mystical and Supernatural by Harold Eberle is a sort of owner's manual for Christians longing to conduct themselves as normal children of God, in their fullest capacity, without being labeled as “out there.”The Spiritual, Mystical and Supernatural discusses the practical mechanics of spiritual/mystical/supernatural realities, our created functionality in them, a clear explanation of our three part nature, how we as believers can tune into the Spirit, interact with each other, and our roles and responsibilities as we mature in the household of God (as well as our own households). By removing the “spooky” factor from being a normal Christian, Mr. Eberle teaches how we all, whether cognizant of it or not, operate in these realms more frequently than we realize, and that we need not be afraid of these abilities, but wise with them.The author also boldly takes on topics that many in the church would run from - most folks have had unusual experiences from time to time and perhaps do not understand them, not having a grid to even place them upon. This book really helps the reader to have a framework and a grid for those experiences, and to safely pursue them in a godly direction.

This book is easy to read, interesting, and Scripture based.The author stresses the importance of a balance between the spiritual and natural aspects of life.I found his views on "dualism" and "disembodied eternity" very interesting.Overall I found the book both enlightening and challenging. The spiritual side of life is something I have been interested in for some time and this book covers a wide range of topics. Dreams, the association of the soul and blood, an explanation of the spiritual realm are just some of those topics.This book is well worth reading.

This is a great book. I have read it cover to cover once and am starting it again to absorb more. Harold is an excellent teacher and writer. He gives a lot of solid information on the spirit realm and how things work. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to know more about the spirit realm whether they are Christians, Athiest, New Age, Hindu, Buddist, Krishna or Wicca........Whoever your source is, Harold's book will bring deeper understanding to your spirit life.

bought the kindle version, and reading it on my tablet with kindle app. the graphics are not displaying correctly so I am missing part of the info that makes the info presented in this book make sense. but the text read was good. I recommend buying the print version of this book.

This book was Biblical and easy to understand - even though it was "meaty" in content. You will definitely want to take your time going through it and allow the Holy Spirit to give additional insight.

Another well written book from a deep and inspired thinker for today's church. Harold Eberly has opened up some necessary understanding and we need to move through and beyond where he has taken us.

Been a Christian since a small child (I'm now 44) and books like this are just beginning to reveal the Spiritual dimension of my faith - bizarre really because its like it has been hidden from normal Christians until now. If you want to have your faith expanded and see a glimpse into an amazing future in Christ, read this book! Some of it I read by faith and not understanding but sometimes you just need to let the gist of it sink into your Spirit.

Another great book from Harold Eberle. I especially enjoyed the chapters in which Eberle shows us that the soul and body are not something bad or sin in itself. Great teaching about dualism, which is widespread in today's Christian world. There is also a great section about escaping into the spirit. I have witnessed many times how really spiritual people slipped into that unhealthy behaviour. But I could never explain or see from where this behaviour erupted. Eberle shows us with great discernment from what kind of believe system and teaching this evolves. And like always written in an easy understanding way!
