Fits perfectly and is much beefier than the OEM
I've installed 3 starter clutches on the 1100s and this one by far was the best. All pieces fit and screws were the correct length. Other kits were only able to use parts because of fitment issues, but not this one.I suspect that the complaints may have had errors in installation and this is why it failed. It is a complicated, detailed process, but there are vids on youtube that make it very doable. But you have to install correctly to prevent failure.

Not hard to install, make sure you have recommended tools to do the job! Works awesome!!

The kit is fine, but NOT the gasket
The parts fit well. My motorcycle is still a project at the moment, so I can't speak to longevity when using these parts, but it seems fine so far.However, don't bother with the gasket. It's trash and started leaking almost immediately. Get a better gasket somewhere else.

Parts all fit but the kit was short 2 screws!

Not readily available at Yamaha dealers
This clutch kit is priced 20% of what our Dealer wanted. Dealer had no stock and gave a 10 day time to get verses next day hear.

You get what you pay for cheap price cheap products.
THE tolerance this product is machined very poor. The outer gear was too tight and couldn't be installed without destroying the needle bearing in the process. the needle bearing was bent. I was able to reuse some old parts to make this work. Will not buy this product again. You get what you pay for cheap price cheap products.
