This is a very sturdy, attractive pool basketball set. After much deliberating, I decided to opt for the more expensive set with the 43 inch backboard. Putting this set together was very easy - it took about 20 minutes total and I only needed a second person to hold the backboard while screwing it into place (I found it much easier to keep the adjustment arm a little loose, so that the backboard could be put on out of the water and then rotated into place and tightened). l really like the ability to adjust the height of the net for different players. Some stationary sets tend to be either too high or too low and the option to move it up and down is a big bonus. The size is perfect for pool play in my 20X40 True L and the color is beautiful. I appreciate the stainless steel parts, as my old set rusted out after a couple of years - even though I put it away for the winter. The design of the base allows for complete stability so far and the set does not move (I wouldn't recommend hanging on the rim, however). The included ball is also well-made and allows for those deck dribbles before the shot! I truly like this set and I highly recommend it for hours of pool party fun for all ages. If I could change one thing about this set, It would be maybe to make the net spring-loaded for those over-zealous dunkers and include two balls instead of one. This set is more pricey than some of the other ones I looked at, but at the end of the day, I often believe you get the quality that you pay for and in this case, I agree. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Assembled pretty quickly! Nice hoop. Looks like it will last for years. Eight year old grandson is already enjoying it! Wow was I wrong! After 3 months I returned home to find the clear backboard peeled off the frame!!! I have sent the manufacturer a message we will see how they handle this!!! Within three days they sent a new backboard. Apparently they had used a bad batch of glue. Thank you for your prompt attention.;

I just closed my pool for the season. The Dun-Rite Hoop still looks good after 7 full seasons. Takes just a few minutes to loosen the nuts on the backboard bracket and pull it off the vertical base pole. Pulled the rubber plug off the base and emptied the water into the pool. This is one of the most durable products I have ever purchased. Sitting out in the sun for 7 Summers and it looks like it's ready for season 8. Well worth the money - just get it.

We had the splash back hoop with plastic rim for years. It was a smaller hoop were the plastic rim had cracked or broken a few different times over the years due to aggressive play. We'd have to find replacement rims on line and it was a pain to replace them. This time around I spent a good amount of time researching again and am very pleased with this Dunnrite model. It has what seems to be a regulation, metal rim, good sized backboard and an adjustable collar to raise and lower the hoop/backboard by simply loosening four bolts. It's easy and real quick using a rachet set. The base is really heavy but can be tipped over toward the pool if someone hangs on the rim. But trying to slide the base a couple inches to reposition is almost impossible so you can imagine its weight but also the physics of someone in the pool hanging on the rim. But a simple rule to the kids is DO NOT HANG ON THE RIM. This isn't a gym nor the driveway hoop and they can dunk but I put the height a little bit out of reach for real slamming and hanging. The kids using it are now are ages 14-15 and the hoop is extremely sturdy from shots hitting the backboard or rim...hardly any movement at all. It's really like having a driveway hoop by the pool finally. Lastly, our order came from Dazadi out of I believe CA. We live in the Boston area. As it's end of summer I was concerned the delivery dates were a little out there with standard shipping so I wrote Dazadi asking if they could expedite the shipping. My email didn't make it in time as the hoop had already left the facility. No worries, the hoop was on it's way and came within 3 days beating the expected delivery date by 4-5 days. I know the price is high but not much higher today than the splash back much more inferior model I bought years ago. It's worth the extra $50 or so dollars with free prime shipping.

Would purchase again. Held up nicely for first year of use by a saltwater pool. My kids have LOVED it. Held up to several birthday parties. Looking forward to 2nd season. Took approximately 30 minutes to set up. The backboard is in the sun all the time with no fading or opaqueness after a year. The net is still strong and intact. The stem that inserts into the base did corrode slightly, but mainly the powder coat just wore off. It took a little extra effort to disconnect and store for the winter with the corrosion, but understandable with strong aluminum parts, and not too difficult. The area in question is still structurally sound and inserts into the base so it's not unsightly. Rest of powder coat has been unaffected. The white base has held up to kids walking across it. When the base is full of water the unit is VERY stable, no tipping issues.

Incredible bball hoop. The base, backboard, and rim are all very sturdy and high quality. We set it up quickly and its already been a hit with the family. You can tell this will last a long time and is built to last. Extremely happy and would recommend to others.

I used this goal last year and it worked great. Set it up again this year when the pool opened and still working well. The only problem I have with it, is the backboard and arm tend to move around the vertical shaft when shoot balls that hit the rim. Perhaps I just need to tighten the holding bolts but I'm afraid I'll snap the fastener. Other than that small issue, this seems like a very nice pool BB Goal.

Easy to assemble, durable and so much fun!!! We had a blast with it over the summer, have left it out during the fall/winter and it looks great. A little expensive but worth it.
