Easy English: Basic English Made Simple (ESL) Unabridged Edition

It is good

An outstanding book for beginners. I've been an English teacher for five years. This is the only book I've seen that is really designed for people who are beginners. Most other books expect the students to make progress at an unrealistic pace or assume that the students already speak some English. Some help from someone who speaks English might be required since it's all in English but the book does a good job of going around this problem by providing pictures to explain the words. The dialogues are, for the most part, simple, yet natural and realistic.

I bought Easy English for some of my older students who come from different countries. They told me it helps them a lot with basic English and increases their confidence in speaking the language. I recommend it.

It's good for beginners, who cannot speak a sentence.Most of my students are senior but not yet citizens they lived here for a long time but never adopted any American Culture. It would be more helpful if the text is printed a little larger, or add a US map with names of States and major cities, or add a few names of US presidents.

I have used this product before and find it very satisfactory. I would, however, like a similar product produced in England for comparison and use with students.

This is a good beginners ESL book. I like that students can practice at home by listening to the CD and repeating

I bought this for my Mom (71), and she has been making GREAT progress on her own as she is studying English to be able to communcate more directly with my American husband and friends. Warmly recommended to all who wish to help their adult or elderly relatives learn basic conversational English.

内容はとてもいいのですが、本がミニサイズの携帯なのでちょっと残念でした。なぜなら、学校の教材としてコピーしにくいという部分があります。このシリーズはどれも役に立つと思います。

辞書を片手に勉強する感じです。楽しいとか、そう言った味付けは無いので・・・一人で黙々とやり続ける事が出来るタイプにお勧めです。たとえば、目的や目標がハッキリしていて、時間的にも期限が決っている人には良いかも知れません。「ちょっと英語の勉強でもしようかな？」って感じの私には敷居が高かった。

A little bit basic but good introduction for non-English speakers. Doesn't go into as much grammar as expected but not bad.

I find this text excellent for beginner students. It gradually builds up a basic knowledge of the English language in order to have a very good foundation for the future.

This book is nonetheless, good and recommendable. Encourage all who wishes to learn English Language with all easy to go for this. Advisable
