My 92 year old mother is 4'11" and 120 lbs. would this cushion be a good choice for her or should I lokok for something less thick?

My 90 year old Father thought the cushion was perfect, until he had to get from his bed into the wheelchair and we realized the cushion made his wheelchair seat too high for him to slide onto it from his standard height bed. Perhaps an adjustable height bed would have eliminated that issue. However, the snap on strap made removing the cushion and reattaching it easy, and I was pleased it could be adjusted tightly enough for him to slide off easily, but unfortunately he just couldn't get back up onto his chair with this cushion attached. If your Mother can stand up, or if she has an adjustable height bed it might be okay, but since she's only 4'11" I'd be concerned the added height of the cushion would make her seat a bit high for her too. It was the most comfortable and certainly the most secure of all the cushions I purchased for him so if you can make this work for her it's worth every penny!

Is the cushion slippery on top?

My 82 yo father wears denim or cotton trousers and sitting directly on this cushion does not seem to slide on it.

Can this be used for the back of wheelchair?

The cushion would fit across the back of a wheelchair, but it is very firm. It is not contoured for use against a person's back and I do not think it would be at all comfortable.
