Are they as cold as the adult ones or would it be different ?

Hi Brian, they are as cold as adult ones. Just don t keep them in thefreezer.keep themin thr fridge. Otherwise you will damage them.mine broke and leaked so i have learned now. They are goid and kids love them.i wanted to buy moreto replace the one i broke but it s out of stock. I have 3 kids under5 and cold compress and plasters are all we use when they feel it ll make them feel better😊.

How long do they stay hot for

Mine stayed hot hot for a good hour and a half and were still warm enough to take the chill from my hands 2hours and 15minutes later.

Can you heat these packs with hot water if no microwave?

I would say warm not boiling straight from the kettle
