Seekers: Return to the Wild #3: River of Lost Bears Paperback – Illustrated, January 7, 2014

This is the 9th Seekers book that we've read. Starting with book one of series 1 titled "The Quest Begins" and going through Book 6. This is the 3rd book in the second series all subtitled "Return to the Wild" and we are enjoying it as much as always. Not only is the story engaging and adventure filled as always, but it continues to weave thoughtful environmental messages into the story in a way that makes sense to young and older readers alike. In the Seekers series, she covers deforestation, oil drilling, piping and pollution, melting ice caps, and the continued encroachment of suburbia on once wild areas just to name a few. She also does a terrific job of personalizing the animals in a way that the reader can really understand the hardships that they must endure as a result of sharing this world with "flat faces" (humans).

This book was really good I think anyone who likes adventure and action will really like this book. I gave it five stars because I really like the storyline and the main characters. This book is pure amazing. This book is in the second series not the first so if you think it is in the first series you're wrong. One of my favorite characters is Yakone. He us really important to this story. Happy reading!

Seekers is a great secondary when you run out of the Warriors books to read. As an adult, they are easy to read and an easy escape. I love animals and the human qualities this/these authors give their characters is fabulous! Perfect for the early teen!

I love this book to death and I'm dying to read forest of wolves. I read this book and couldn't stop. I recommend this book to pre teens and teens or older. As I read the book had AMAZING details and I enjoying every word!! :) Some parts were TERRIFYING and I got more into the book.

I love animals and when you get a look inside their would it is most interesting. I loved the Warrior series by Erin Hunter about cats, the dog series was not as interesting, but I do enjoy the bears.Can't wait for my granddaughter to get a little older so I can pass them on to her.

This series has been a favorite of mine for awhile, and even though its not very "deep" stuff, I love it! I would recommend it to just about anyone!! The only reason i did not give it 5 stars was because some of the stuff that happened was a little predictable i would have like to read something a little more out-of-the-box, and I would have like to feel that heart wrenching, nervous feeling to happen! I am 13, and love this series and the other series as well!

This is a very good book with some sad and nerve wracking parts to it but all in all I'm glad to have gotten to go on such an adventure with Chenoa Lusa Urjack Kallick and Yokone.Bye have a nice day guys 😀😀😁😁😁.
