Great little beach tent!
I bought this for a trip to the beach with family and am very pleased with it! I set this up in my yard, just to see what it's like so I'd be prepared when on the beach. Very quick setup and the directions were great. Between then and when we went to the beach, I lost the stakes lol... so I found 2 larger stakes in my camping gear and brought those with us. When we got to the beach, we found it was VERY windy. I'm glad we had at least the 2 stakes, but that would not be enough! Thankfully, the tent has 4 pouches on the corners that you can fill with sand! These really helped keep the tent from blowing away. We also had our beach bags inside to help hold it down, but that wasn't necessary. This really made our beach experience comfortable... without it, I'm sure we all would have been burnt to a crisp and sandblasted (the wind was blowing the sand). We spent time going back and forth between the ocean and the tent. It has a nice little flap on it that extends outwards, but I put a beach mat on top of that to make the area bigger for the kids and their towels, toys, seashells, and whatnot. Inside the tent was most comfortable for 2 adults... but you could fit probably 4 people inside if you didn't have all the bags and coolers in there, too. It was bigger than most tents we saw on the beach that day.

You will love this!!
I purchased this for a solo beach trip to SC. It was small enough to pack into my check bag and extremely easy to put together by myself. There are only 3 poles and the instructions are on the inside of the bag to guide you. Takes less than 5 minutes to set up. There are windows you open/close with Velcro if you want more air flow or privacy. There is a large flap that you can close up of it’s raining or if you want a quick nap.I didn’t use the stakes in the sand, only filled the sand bags. They kept it down and I didn’t worry about it taking flight. It does lift up slightly in the front if it’s very windy, but I’m sure you can rig something stronger with the stakes. Packing up was simple too- just take out the poles, fold, and roll the tent up! Voila! Off to your next adventure!

Beach shade
This product very sturdy and os made of good quality material. I have used thus a few times at the beach and it is not the easiest to set up when it is windy but it is doable, just make sure tou have 2 people. There were no missing parts when I received mine and is very easy to open and close as there are no zippers to deal with, just velcro for the side windows. I like the long flap in front to help with keeping sand feet on that. It is like a sail when trying to set up in the wind so be careful. Very well worth the money you spend on it, if you have a ground chair or just sit on the ground. A regular camping chair can't fit under it as it isn't very tall, provides good shade when needed.

Light, compact, easy assembly
This is lightweight, easy to assemble and disassemble...about 5 minutes depending on how windy it is !Great sun protectionHas 6 pockets for items on the inside edge which are very useful for sunscreen, glasses, phones etc..There are 3 flaps to open or close depending if you want a breeze to flow through...easy velcro attachments. The bottom waterproof liner is great...keeps your towels from getting damp and helps to keep out the sand. The attached sandbags to secure are perfect...I didn't have to use the extra rope and tether pegs to keep it secure and it was a fairly breezy day. Just used a couple of pegs directly in the sand at the front edge.Carrying case with cross body strap was perfect as it freed up my hands to carry other items.Very good value, fast shipping. Highly recommend

Perfect for travel
Exceeded my expectations! I was looking for a tent that is large enough for family of 4, but also can be easily stored in the luggage, this was perfect size. Assembly took about 3 minutes for 2 adults.

Overly complicated
An overly complicated piece of equipment to set up when you drag it all the way to your spot on the beach and open it expecting to see a pop up tent. Instead, it's legit a full blown tent with a skeleton and ground stakes. It's basically a tent without a door.

Sturdy, lightweight, but little harder to set up
Came in a much more compact carrying case than I expected, and super lightweight as well! That only means that folding things back up needs to be neat and organized in order for the tent to fit back in. Once you understand how to set it up, the only difficulty is getting the poles to securely fit into the holes as they are super tight on the ends (making for a sturdy build). Taking apart the tent is equally difficult for the same reason, but it isn't too difficult once you get the hang of it. Ease of folding the tent was 3/5 since the tent material itself may be flimsy at times. Overall, quality of the tent once set up is top notch with nice shade and windows and is super lightweight/compact, but you may need to note that it is a bit of a struggle to set up and tear down. The inside is also cool material, even my dog wanted to go in!

Awwww Snap! WolfWise not so wise after all
When you lug something like this on a plane, you expect it to work at least ONCE.Alas, when lining up the poles to make them into their full length one of the nylon ropes inside just completely failed/broke. Now, I know what you're thinking, this guy was probably wrestling with the thing and being aggressive etc. I wish that were true, and you can believe that if you want and take the risk yourself. But I simply pulled the poles out of their bag and loosely held them as they connected up across the sand. I applied no force or tension. All that existed in terms of strain on the little nylon rope was what was in the rope itself, and of course gravity.I am getting sick of Amazon selling third party crap. I am going to start writing critical reviews now because I have wasted so much time effort and money on stuff that just doesn't work, out of the box, or fails soon after. I'll start going to retailers more because I know at least they curate the products they sell and you can identify who made the thing. Or if it is a house brand, they'll probably test it enough to make sure it works.I wish you luck if you decide to go ahead. It's very possible I got a bad "batch."
