Kingston Brass CC3131 62-Inch Large Size by 27-5/8-Inch D-Type Shower Rod, Polished Chrome

I read the reviews and decided to order anyway as I was having a very hard time finding a suitable product. This item is a piece of expensive garbage!!!!! Be warned if you do buy that it will fall apart during every use. Even while showering. If you move the shower curtain to fast, the bar comes out of the corners. The connections for the walls has a small allen key screw that does not work at all and continues to come off the wall. Even while showering!!! Which when you have a metal bar falling on your head while trying to shower and almost making you fall would end next in a law suit I guess??Buyers be warned, I wish I had listened to the one review that stated he had to epoxy the corners so they would not come out and had not wasted $160 and just went to Home Depot and made my own!! The manufacturer should be taken off amazon and not be allowed to sell this garbage to people any longer. I was forced to apply one star but would not give it that. It should have a no star option!! Good Luck to others if you decide to buy!!

I should have taken the advice of some of the other comments. The corners and middle section need better reinforcement. I have to keep pushing them together. Therefore, I'm taking the advice of the others and reinforcing with 1/2 cooper or plex piping to strengthen those areas. If these items were stressed before they should have been considered. This products beauty deserves a 5

This product is GARBAGE. See photo. When I called they were rude and unhelpful. The guy who answered first said they never had any such complaints, then said when people complained they just bought an additional support rod. How’s that supposed to work with a shower curtain to draw around the tub? DO NOT THROW YOUR MONEY AWAY. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY EVER!

There aren't an overwhelming amount of these kits to choose from, but I suggest looking around for something that has been reviewed as sturdy and easy to install. I kept picturing someone tripping and grabbing onto the curtain for support ... ripping this entire entourage out of the wall and ceiling... lying naked in a heap on the floor for reasons other than depressive tendencies...

Individual pieces connect with an aluminum inner sleeve that results in sagging joints. Holes are drilled in wrong location to be assembled like the picture in the description and the picture in the assembly instructions, (which had no words). Worst piece of doodoo that I have come across in a long time. Do not be tempted by the lowest price as I was. I did get mine to work after strengthening it with epoxy at the aluminum joints and adding an additional ceiling hanger. The tubes themselves are nice strong chrome-plated brass and sufficient to the task but the joints and end pieces are not good. Lack of quality control at factory results in mis-matched pieces and holes not drilled in correct places. I should have just returned it.

We returned this product. So flimsy . Not enough screws . It kept falling apart because there is nothing really to hold the pipes in to each other .

Very flimsy. The included hardware was not strong enough, and even with stronger anchors, this does not support the weight of a shower curtain and liner going all the way around the tub. Very cheap and not worth the price. Stay away from this product.

This is one of the hardest things I have ever put together. It is NOT a one person job and it is not easy. I do like it now that it is installed though.
