Liking the book so far

This is great. I did this class at church when I was raising my kids. Very beneficial. Bought it does my son and daughter in law for their family.

The product met my expectations and was delivered in a timely manner

It helps to understand that as parents we cannot treat all our kids to same.

Always a good read by Chapman.

Awesome book

Great book.

My wife recommended this book to me after I realized that I was having trouble connecting with our youngest daughter ( 7 ). As it turns out her “love language” is “Words of Affirmation” and I was using her own language against her. I’m not a loud or angry person but my daughter has the uncanny ability to push all my buttons in rapid succession. We’d have heated arguments followed by screaming and yelling ( her ) and criticism ( me ). Now, I’ve learned to cool down before talking to her. For example, tonight I asked her to pick up some games that she had left out and she proceeded to yell and scream for several minutes. She did eventually clean them up at which point I told her, “Thank you for cleaning up the mess. You did a good job picking everything up.” Yes, sometimes you need to swallow your pride - but on the upside we are getting along a lot better.

I would definitely recommend this book for those who want to have a healthy and meaningful relationship with their children and for those who believe that this can be achieved through positive parenting. A book which is ought to be read if you wish to provide a happy and lovable life to your children.It helps parents and guides them in moulding their children into better humans.

Fantastic book, a great read for parents.

Very interesting and can learn new things

I bought it as a gift to a friend of mine who is preparing a Talk. The content is always accurate especially the practical examples about how to love our children and teens. The edition is exactly the same as the one I have!

Wonderful book on parenting.My child is 8 years..Had I read this some years ago..it wud have been better.Now that I realsed many important things I started appyling it and the very first day seeing the good effects.Every parent who wants their child to b a model child should definitely read n apply the lessons in life.
