I have a grinder with a small rectangular bin that I usually pour directly into the portafilter. This has always been a messy task with grinds getting everywhere.This funnel sticks to the portafilter securely and gives me a wider opening and greater depth to pour the grinds in with less mess! Comes off easily and cleans up nicely. Should have gotten one much sooner...

Love the magnets, nice touch! I've been using it for a while and I like it. After filling the portafilter, I can tap the side and the funnel doesn't fall out.

I wasn’t sure what to expect since it’s only $11. This fit my 58mm portafilter perfectly. There are magnets on it that help it stay on your portafilter. Very little play/movement when on the portafilter. Seriously, this is the one you’re looking for!

I purchased a dosing funnel made by another company and had to return it. Not only did it have a design that sat around the outside of the portafilter, but it was a very poor fit at that! That funnel did a poor job at keeping in the grounds and felt off easily.Contrasting to this funnel, it has a very nice fit. It also sits on the inside of the portafilter. I no longer lose coffee grounds! I was concerned about the finish getting scratched as opposed to a harder stainless, but then I realized - this isn't sliding across rocks! Its coffee! The finish will be fine! I've used it many times since my purchase and it does exactly what its designed to do and it looks premium while doing it!

I used this for a couple months, but after washing it with Cafiza for the first time along with all of my portafilters, the paint on the funnel completely stripped and made the ring sticky and discolored and it seems the residue stuck to my portafilter baskets as well. I am considering buying completely new portafilter baskets because I do not believe this is food safe paint and I certainly do not want to be consuming it.tl;dr the paint came off and now I have to buy new portafilter baskets.

This or something similar is a must if you have an espresso machine. It makes everything SOOOOO much cleaner.This a particular one is well shaped long and also fits right into my basket. So its a great one. I wish it had magnet to keep it attached to the basket. Its not really a HUGE issue, but it does sometime slip and i would have really liked it to stay on better.

I had a fair amount of ground coffee spill over the 58mm porter filter. I was looking for a funnel that would- fit well onto the 58mm porter filter- be high enough to prevent any spillage if coffee, and that would- not flare too much along the top so I could fit the porter filter into the holder of coffee grinder.I did a fair amount of research. I noticed that some of those funnels are way overpriced in my opinion.This was really works well and I don't think anyone needs to look any further. It is reasonably priced, sturdy, looks good (not as shiny as some of teh other, and blends well in when kept on the tamper matt)I give this a funnel a top rating, because it does all it is supposed to do.

Works fine for me. Magnets aren't very strong so if you don't have a clear surface on the funnel or portafilter, it won't stick. However, magnets not required for function.

Sturdy and solid, prevents coffee grounds from falling out. Excellent for price!

I bought this to stop ground coffee spilling around the machine and benchtop. It doesn't so this. There are several problems.(1) The funnel is slightly too high and doesn't quite fit under the grinder of my machine (Sunbeam Barista Express). As a result the group handle doesn't fully go under the grinder and barely activates the microswitch that controls grinding. In removing the group head and funnel the funnel scrapes the grinder and coffee grounds adhering to it go everywhere.(2) You can't tamp the coffee with the funnel in the group head. I thought this would be possible but perhaps that's my unrealistic expectation.(2) Coffee grounds stick to the funnel meaning you have to be careful about removing it from the group head or coffee grounds will spill on the bench. You have to knock or rinse the adhering grounds off.I'm not sure I'll persist with the funnel. I'm still getting grounds spilt plus now there's an extra item to clean. It is a quality item at a good price but all the same not recommended.

Unfortunately this sits in the basket and leaves an impression in the coffee grounds. Yes you will rake it out, level off and then tamp, but no impression versions are better. Very light weight.
