I had pretty low expectations but I was pleasantly surprised with the texture and taste. I have only cooked it in the microwave so far and it comes out like scrambled eggs. Very easy to make.

I love easy, shelf-stable food for travel, commuting, etc. I'm always looking for savory breakfast options that don't need refrigeration, so when I saw this "omelette mix" it sounded like a great idea. Powdered eggs don't bother me, but this was a HUGE let-down. They looked fine cooking, even had a nice egg-y aroma, but that was it. There was NO flavor, and the texture was dreadful - it was like eating cement. I had added a little salt and pepper, but even that couldn't save it. No bacon flavor, no cheese flavor - just a mild plastic aftertaste. Utter disappointment.

I wasn't completely sure what to expect with a powdered omelet diet breakfast but wanted a change from shakes in the morning. The initial mixing of the powder was the only thing that took a star away as it was not overly easy to try and mix it up in an effort to break up the powder clumps and have it all smooth. Even with some clumps remaining, I went ahead and cooked it. Only took a few minutes - the flavor and consistency was good. I ended up making scrambled eggs instead of an omelet but still very good.Will be ordering more of this. Even without being on a diet, limited eggs at the grocery stores makes this a good backup!

I thought these were a bit on the rubbery side. If you are in a hurry they are a good quick breakfast to go as a fueling. I prefer to cook up ground turkey sausage and bacon bits and toss those crumbles into bags in the freezer. I then add a few crumbles of each to egg beaters and microwave in a mug. Still low cal with fat and proteins but an easy fix also with a better flavor.

I add a touch of hot water to melt the powder and dairy free sugar free milk mix and microwave. They are not rubbery this way. I have repurchased many times

You know when you're eating something at the fair and some of the napkin accidentally gets into your mouth, and it has substance but ruins the flavor of the rest of the food in your mouth until you get that napkin piece out of your mouth? This has that flavor, only add a rubbery texture to it. It doesn't taste like eggs, cheese, nor bacon, and hot sauce doesn't help, nor does 0 calorie syrup. It's just awful.
