Copperplate Calligraphy: a pointed pen workbook Kindle Edition

I'm a little bit disappointed with this workbook. It has everything a workbook needs, but you can get the same thing online from other professional calligraphers for a similar price, but you can print as many copies as you want. This is strictly letter practice. There is no explanation of basic strokes, troubleshooting, or variations on letters, and no word practice or learning how to connect letters. It's okay if you just care about letters as individual shapes.

I took many courses on calligraphy and I was having difficulty learning it. I saw this book and I purchased it. It was the best decision I have made since I started my journey learning calligraphy. It is very concise, breaking the strokes up into pieces and putting them together. She provides numbers to guide your pen. She makes it simple to comprehend. After I purchased this book I tossed all books and everything aside and made this my bible. I cannot stress how happy I was to stumble upon this book. I make this the book to learn from. In this book it is the foundations for writing beautifully. It is a must for beginners and even advanced calligraphers. It's a tool for the essentials and a resource to have. I purchased several copies because I want to keep this book for life. Outstanding, outstanding, outstanding!!!!!!

Esperaba un libro más completo, no solo práctica de cada una de las letras. Otros libros workshop que he comprado incluyen tips, recomendaciones, y más explicación que solo práctica. Es un librito delgadísimo.En cualquier caso, para practicar las letras está bien.

Why would anyone recommend this book? It is terrible! I could go to google images and get the same practice lettering pictures for free.. Very disappointed!
