Perfect for high-speed network and audio applications
I use several of these for my Dante and Digigrid recording setups. They are fast and reliable. The Power Over Ethernet feature makes it easy to power my satellite audio devices, too.

Netgear GS110TPv3, love the choice between local GUI or Cloud control.
Dear Netgear, thank you for paying attention to the customer. You have a cloud solution but do not force us to use it. You allow the customer to pick using the local web GUI or using a cloud [phone/web] solution. I like the local GUI myself. This switch does have a lot of perks the big professional switches I work on daily. Love the VLAN setup and PoE screens. So, please, Netgear, keep up the good work as this is one great switch at a very reasonable price.

multi-gig copper ports, silly high PoE budget, simple setup
This is a home setup and everything is locally managed, I cannot speak to the Insight management service. Upgraded to a UPro7 AP and added this switch to the setup to take advantage of the 2.5Gb uplink, in addition to a handful of clients with 2.5/5/10Gb connection options. The Netgear switch carries a few VLANs and sits between a pfsense+ router (home built) and a Cisco SG250. Everything talks to each other fine (obviously some differences in web GUI and terms but it's all doable) and I'm getting all the speed I'm promised. PoE budget of 295W seems crazy to me and the only overkill part, but I'm not market research so I'm sure it's of use to others. Cisco users: PVID is of course key but there's no "access" or "trunk" in the Netgear world, you simply select what VLANS to Tag, Untag or remove on a port and it's implied it's a "trunk." This is in Switching mode.

What a beast of a switch!
The GS110TP has been an incredible switch. I’ve been using it for about a year now and the only downtime it has had is from restarting from firmware updates. All of the configuration is easy on the switch. LACP works great for a 2GbE uplink! I recommend this switch every day of the week!

POE+ & 2 SFP
I have a number of POE IP cameras around my property and was having my previous switches fail when lightning storms were in the area, even if there was no really close hits. I switched to fiber optic to run between the buildings and now none of my switches have died. This Netgear switch gives me two SFP ports so I can link through to additional switches, and with the POE+ power, I can run many POE cameras as well as the occasional POE+ camera. If you need to run more that 2 POE+ devices, you might need a different switch because this device only supplies 55 watts total power. This is the 3rd GS110TP I bought, and I also have a few GE305EP where I did not have a fiber run and I am very happy with the reliability of my Netgear products. I love the web interface and the available options for managing the switch; it makes it super easy for me to get the information I need or power cycle remote POE IP cameras. Before I switched to fiber, Netgear was very helpful providing support on my devices that dies during storms and I expect that if I do end up having any issues, their support will probably be excellent. I highly recommend Netgear and the GS110TP switch.

excellent product, less than ideal on details of size and performance
The product met the need for my installation. There is only 30 watts per POE+ - but a maximum budget of 55Watts. (this wasn't clear from the marketing - i thought i was getting 55W per port - not that you need that much for any POE+ product, but being "future proof" was part of the reason for purchase.) Major design flaw in my estimation. The power adapter port is in the REAR of the switch, while the ports are in FRONT. The marketing for this product says depth of the product is 4" (perfect fit for my installation was designed w/ 4" depth for switch) The actual depth with the power adapter plugged in : 5 1/2" (too big without changing my installation). I also own the GS408EPP Switch. For me that switch is perfect in performance, size, and function. The only reason i'm replacing it - the fan. It's promoted as 'whisper quiet' at 29dB. Unfortunately, its very loud for my installation - i can hear it with the door closed and all the way into a back room. (Think about as loud as a new refridgerator.) So, i need to replace it. All in all, a fine product. Works as intended - and QUIET! But, now i have to set about re-designing the space to fit it. in light of the odd design (which might work well for some, though), i have to bump it down a notch.

Fantastic Switch for the Money
This Netgear Switch really is fantastic. I have several of these and they have been rock solid from the start. One of the best things about it is the fact that the SFP ports are not shared with any of the ethernet ports...something common on many other switches (for example, when a shared port is used, say the ethernet port, the SFP port is deactivated and vise versa, so basically a 10 port switch would really only allow 8 ports to work at once). The management features are really good as well. The switch does a great job negotiating PoE and non-PoE devices...I never have to worry when I connect a non-PoE device that the switch will fry it. I have used it with up to 150ft of ethernet cable and had no issues. I am currently using it to run several Ubiquiti AP AC Pros as well as with some PoE splitter devices that break a PoE signal into 12v DC and network (these are fantastic to power non-PoE devices). The SFP ports are simply marvelous as they seem to work with every SFP device I have. I have tried almost every Ubiquiti Fiber SFP with no issues. I am super happy with this switch and would definitely recommend it. If you can get it from Amazon Warehouse Deals, you can usually save a few bucks on a refurbished model (which is what I did).
