I'm glad I bought this but my wall was definitely thinner than I anticipated. I was worried I would need two but one was plenty. It sticks out about an inch but the exterior cover almost makes up for it. I really don't know how you'd measure the thickness of your walls, but if you know how to do that you'll know exactly how many of these you need.

these will lock into place with each other, but not with the inside the house side of the actual cat door. I was told I would need an additional glass door conversion piece. There is a work around. You can use a flat head screw driver to snap off the inner lip of the female side. Doing so means that you can then press this onto the inside the house side of the cat door.

I hate this entire product line. Nothing fits correctly. It's like they're not even made to work together. They want you to "trim" these to length. So good luck with that. 😂 Actually a joke of a product. I can't even believe this is being sold.

The description says this "tunnel" will fit all Cat Mate brand cat doors so I ordered two. They do not fit the medium cat door we ordered with these two tunnels. We luckily fit it onto the actual door side, but it does not fit the other end. Had to use wire nippers to cut a slit in the wall of the tunnel piece to make it slide into the end panel. It will work with a slight gap at the bottom. If not for this, I would have given this 5 stars for solid material and great way for us to put in a cat door from our garage to the back yard (with a 6" deep wall). The door from the house to garage only needed the basic cat door, but going out through garage wall was a different project.

Not sure how they meant for this to fit together with the inside door and outside frame? They are the same size, the door flap part and this tunnel. So we duct taped them together and the tape helped it snug in to the outside frame piece. Red Green would be proud of the use of duct tape LOL my cats figured out how to use the door pretty quick and use it a lot to let themselves in and out, esp early morning now INSTEAD of waking me up!

I love the quality and aesthetics of the door. Mounting requirements through a wall should be more clear on website description to inform buyer that they WILL require multiple extensions and order with initial purchase order to avoid delays. The door is easy to use, and my small dog adapted very quickly. Customer support is very responsive. Very good job. Thanks

Ottimo per creare un tunnel nel muro (ne abbiamo usati 5 per un totale di 30cm). Abbinato a gattaiola Cat Mate. Molto apprezzato dal ns gatto di 6 kg!!
