PEBEOPorcelaine 150, Water-Based High-Gloss Color Porcelain Paint, 45 ml Bottle - Amber Brown

This Amber/Brown is exactly what I was hoping for. It's pretty much transparent, so if you spread it thin you get amber, but applied heavily or in multiple coats you get brown. I want to make a sunburst effect and this will be perfect!

Color goes on smooth. Long lasting paint on glassware after it's baked in a conventional oven. Some colors are sheer so pay attention to what you order.

This paint is unusual in it's consistency. Unlike any other I have ever used. If your new to painting, I would suggest a practice piece. Work in thin layers to build up the color. Don't be in a hurry to bake it, I let my piece dry for nearly a week before it didn't feel tacky anymore. I also used the pen liner as well as the moon gold for a hammered look. It came out really nice.

I purchased these to mural a custom tumbled marble tile backsplash wall in my kitchen. Following the instructions and watching the instructional Pebeo YouTube video made this a fun project.One thing, these paints are thinner than acrylics (even the opaque colors) purchase extra so you have enough to give you adequate coverage. Thinners aren't as important as extra white and black for color manipulation.Super fun to use, no-low odor. smell a bit when you bake them but the smell doesn't send you running from your houses.

This paint fixed a chip in my ceramic baking dish and seems to be holding up in dishwasher and oven.

Pebeo Amber is exceptionally good for enhancing fired stoneware ceramics. I use it on art works already glazed and with matt glazes fired as high as cone 6 or on saggar fired works fired only to 06.. Then if the pieces are small enough I heat them up to 350 in my home oven. not a kiln. you can look at my website www dot claywoman dot net to see examples of its use.

Delighted with final results after baking my project. It does harden into a finish that looks kiln-baked using your own kitchen oven at home. I was pleased and particularly love the colour I bought: a vintage deep amber.

I used this product along with a little nail polish remover to dye an antique globe lamp that was losing it's original finish, it looks amazing.I just followed some instructions I found online and it worked perfectly.
