Mrs. McNosh Hangs Up Her Wash: A Giggle-Producing Picture Book About a Wacky Clothesline for Kids (Ages 4-8)

All my girls aged 16, 13, 10 and 4 enjoyed this book. I love this book as well.

Silly and wonderful rhyming book about Mrs. McNosh...who winds up hanging all kinds of fanciful things on her wash line. The rhymes are fabulous and children giggle away as it is read. Perfect for 5 year olds...but two year olds would love the silliness as well. and the rhymes are wonderful when you read to a baby as well which would keep the baby's attention since the colors in the illustrations are so captivating. I put this book at a baby shower...along with a clothesline where guests could hang paper "onesies" on with wishes for the baby. big hit!

I got this for my almost two year old that loves reading to add a new book to the mix. She loves this one. It is her first choice at reading time.

I love this story as did my preschoolers. I used it for a clothing unit for my preschool. Perfect length book. Kept my children’s attention and the illustrations were entertaining.

This story is a very enjoyable story for children. We read this story when our daughter was around three. She was very engaged in the story at that time when she was not yet reading. She continued to enjoy the story even now at eight. Even though she is now older she will recall the story freguently. The story is very engaging and the pictures are very vivid and the bird appears in every picture. I would have her identify where the bird was in the picture. The words are funny and rhyme which was alot of fun for her. Once she was reading it continued to be a favorite. We purchased another copy of the book for a niece because this story was so enjoyable.

Just bought this for my first grader and he loved it! The story was cute and the rhymes were clever. He was laughing through the whole thing. This was a great independent read for him as well. Highly recommend!

This book is a wonderful way to help young children learn to use picture clues and to identify rhyming words. Wonderful pictures.

Preschoolers love this book. Lots of opportunities to work on speech and language with this book. Would recommend it for sure.
