Lid Pocket

Every holiday I have vowed to make something like this-finally someone has come up with a clever and versatile design. Works great so far on all the different styles of crock pots we have.

Lid Pocket is a good invention. Just what we needed when handing out pulled pork samples at the Farmers Market. I did find that you have to hold the Lid Pocket with one hand and lift the lid with the other when trying to return the lid to the Crock Pot. If not, the lid pocket falls off of the Crock Pot when you pull the lid out. Not a big deal if you are at home, but we were working on folding tables in a tent, and the Lid Pocket fell off and hit the ground. Had to sanitize it before being able to use it again. A couple of people asked where they could get one....

Doesn't fit snug on rim of Crockpot. With it not really getting a good "grip" to hold onto the crockpot the entire system is too unstable. Very sad as I was extremely excited about this one.

Works well, I have several types of slow cookers, only one lid was too thick to fit in pocket---others work great

This product doesn't work as indicated. The lid pocket doesn't fit over the crockpots and is very un-steady. Bad product!

Nice concept but the lid doesn't close fully close on my standard oval crockpot. It gets in the way.

This is a nice product, but be careful to measure the rim on your slow cooker. I'm sure this does fit most, but don't assume yours fits the "most" category. I have a popular Hamilton Beach slow cooker and the lid pocket doesn't fit like it's supposed to. Check with Lidpocket.com for the maximum rim width. I think it's .75 inch. I'm making mine work by hanging it on a handle; not the best but there doesn't seem to be an alternative. I like the concept, though.
