IRONTREE AW7163 Professional Water Pump Kit with Gasket for Dodge (Dakota Durango Ram 1500 Nitro), Jeep (Commander Grand Cherokee Liberty), Chrysler Aspen, 3.7L V6 4.7L V8 Engine, OE Replacement

Purchased for 2003 Jeep Liberty perfect fit. Appears to be OEM quality, with no plastic parts. Gasket was already pressed inside the water pump. Easy to install. 2 size bolts were used (4 long, for short). I put them in the old water pump holes to remember which ones went where. Also bolt torque was 40 foot pounds. I was not for certain it was necessary but I put bolt sealant on all the bolts. Approximately 3 hours for complete job, including draining, flushing and adding coolant, (one gallon concentrated coolant and one gallon distilled water). Also bleed the system, (Hex bolt on the thermostat housing), after adding coolant.

If I could give this 6 stars I would. It is a perfect fit replacement for the leaky OEM pump on my 2011 Jeep Liberty. The rubber gasket comes installed in on the pump, so there is no worrying about it falling out of place during installation. The housing, shaft, bearing, and impeller are all solid metal and well made. Now that it is installed, I got rid of the driveway dripping and coolant smell.

Fit perfect on a 2007 jeep liberty. Easy install, no issues.

Seemed really well made gasket felt durable and thick pump fit on with little hassle and is fully operational for the moment will leave another review in a few weeks time but so far it’s a good purchase Update: may 22 2023 had 136k when I put this pump on it’s now 10 29 2024 with 150k miles the water pump is still good with no leaks and no complaints

Has a metal impeller as other reviewers have noted. Just installed it and drove around for about half an hour. Seems okay, no complaints so far!

I bought this product 4 years ago and I’m back it finally gave out I’m not complaining my honest opinion the price is great I installed it myself it took me about an hour it came with everything I needed so if you are ok with having to change it if it goes bad then I do recommend it but if you want to get a different brand that might be more reliable than pay more but you really never know with cars
