Do you need to change mattress sheet size to fit it in?

Does it work with a flat sheet?

I’m not sure as we use a fitted sheet. I would have thought so as the sheet will be tucked under the mattress so shouldn’t move. It’s a great product and has stopped our little one falling out of bed
