Great product. After trying several other tempered glass options, this wins.
Excellent choice at a much lower price than many similar options. I was skeptical about tempered glass screen protectors at this price range after some poor experiences with warping, shoddy materials, and corners that would eventually lift. The Anker version, however, is great quality. The package was more like a kit. In addition to the well-protected glass piece, there were sticky tabs to act like hinges and handles, products to clean the screen, and then the usual rounded piece of plastic to push out air bubbles. Unlike other reviewers, I did not receive any home buttons. The hinged installation method was fantastic. The hinges are stickers which allow you to perfectly line up the glass, secure it, and clean your screen before peeling away the backing on the protector, then finally flipping it perfectly in place using a third tab to avoid touching the “sticky side”. This means no more painstaking attempts to stick and restick the protector to align both the camera hole and home button with the cut outs. That, in turn, means much less risk of dust particles landing on your screen and creating air bubbles. Once you set up the hinges, it’s clean, peel, flip, and stick. The whole thing took 3 minutes. The glass itself is precisely cut for the 9.7” iPad from 2017. It extends all the way to the edges of the screen, where it is smoothly bevelled. Other competitors (some over twice the price) left slightly more room along the border, and had a lip that would catch on items. In one case, it was enough to peel up a corner. However, Anker’s product is tapered and smooth, just like the product description. It feels like higher quality.Initially, I had some concerns about four or five bubbles that resisted any attempt to press, squeegee, suction, or buff away. There were no dust particles causing these. Everytime I would work them out, they would slowly reappear, as if the glass itself was slightly warped at those spots. After about an hour, however, I tried again, and a few of the bubbles could now be buffed away. I waited another hour and the last stubborn bubbles were suddenly much easier to diminish as well. By the next day, the blemishes were gone entirely. My screen protector was perfectly straight and perfectly clean. It just takes a little time, so be patient.Although the glass is neither smudge nor reflection free, both seem greatly reduced. Clarity of the picture and sensitivity of the touch screen are not negatively affected. Images seem just as bright, if not sharper, and my device is just as responsive to a finger or stylus as before. Overall, this is a fantastic option with none of the problems I have had (and heard of) from tempered glass screen protectors that go for double and triple the cost.I’ve had this installed for a month, and there have been no issues. Despite heavy use and being stuffed in bags and between books, the glass has not shifted at all. There are no scuffs or scratches, and unlike other brands in the $10 range, the edges are not separating. I will be buying Anker for my next device.

Literally the best screen protector I've ever used, seen or heard of.
Honestly better than you could ever hope it to be. Fit, finish and instructions are great. It gives you everything you need to install the protector with zero trouble. The hinge idea they have is the best thing since sliced bread. You clean your iPad very very well with alcohol. The better you clean it the better your results will be. Place the protector exactly where you want it (they make it easy since there is a protective cover on the sticky side of the protector) Double and triple check you want it where you are placing it. Fold the hinge pieces over very very tightly from the back of your iPad to the protector, the tighter you make it the better it'll work for you. Flip the protector just like you'd open a book and check the iPad screen again for any dust fingerprints, ect... Take the protective film off the back of your protector and quickly flip it over on your iPad screen. If you've done this correctly and fast enough there should be zero dust and you'll be fine. The air bubbles can easily work out with the included microfiber cloth and some gentle pressure. If you get some dust under the protector for whatever reason don't worry, you can pry the protector up from a corner. Just be very very careful because I'm sure it can shatter if stressed too hard. flip the protector up and use the sticky paper they give you to grab the dust without leaving lint or finger prints on the protector. I had to pick mine back up off my iPad once for a small dust piece but I got it out no problems and it went back on without a hitch. A little piece of advice, Do this in your bathroom. Get everything all ready to go, crank your shower on hot for a few minutes and all the steam in the air will help to get the dust out of the air and you'll have less troubles. Plus the bright lights in there help out a ton too!

Update: change to 5 stars - Experienced installer myself, could not get this protector on without dozens of huge bubbles that wo
UPDATE8/1/15:I initially had several issues installing this not once, but twice, and both times Anker sent me a replacement within days of letting them know the issue. I had a family emergency that kept me from being able to let them know how the second unit install went, and they followed up with me anyway. I just received my 3rd screen from them, and I, and I'm sure Anker too, am happy to say I had a 99% flawless install. One issue I had on third one was lifting off the sticker pull accidentally lifted up the protector edge just a smidge and allowed for some debris to get in there. However, I do not fault them for that, and the impurity is barely noticeable. I am so pleased with the product, but most importantly, with Ankers determination to make sure I was a satisfied customer. I have recently ordered an iPad Air2 and am giving my mom the original Air as a gift, and I just ordered another screen from these guys. They not only have one of the lowest prices out there for ballistic glass, their customer service would be worth paying 3 times the amount. I highly recommend this company, even if you do have issues installing like I did, you can rest assured that they will take care of you if you only let them know what the issue is.I have been installing screen protectors for I don't even know how long. Working in a cell phone business, you get pretty good at it. I usually buy Tech Armour, but 50$ vs 10$ for the Anker, I figured it was at least worth a shot. I've had good experiences with other non screen protector items from Anker, so I know they usually aren't junk. After receiving the SP (screen protector) and reading the instructions and watching the video, the installation is virtually the same as every other SP out there. My iPad was spotless and dustless, and installing the SP was very easy. Lined up easily and cleanly to the cutouts. However, I immediately noticed dozens of quarter and 50¢ piece sized bubbles forming. I immediately began "pushing" them towards the edges, and was able to get a few out, but 7-8 of them stayed firmly where they were created. I inspected the bubbles and there was nothing there to have created ANY bubbles, but definitely not in the size I had. I went to Ankers website and wrote for some support, as they say the SP's are fully guaranteed. Small print however, showed that was only if purchased on their website apparently. I was left with no option but to use Amazons wonderful return/refund feature. Money was refunded within a day of UPS picking up the junk SP. Anker had sent me an email via the Amazon protocol, asking how the new SP was working, was I satisfied, etc etc. I wrote them back, with basically the same things I have written here, expressing my desire to have tried to use the Anker product again, rather than going to Tech Armour again. Auto response from them stated I would get a response to my email usually within 24 hours. This was June 25th. Still waiting for that response. Tech Armour would have already sent me a new replacement by now. I know, because I have had it happen. So, not only am I disappointed in the SP itself, but more so, I'm disappointed in the (non)service I received from Anker. I guess I should have remembered, you get what you pay for. Luckily I was refunded what I paid. But Anker is losing me as a future customer for any future products they might have, unless I hear back from them fairly soon. Not holding my breath though.Recommendation: I would not buy, simply for the lack of support should you need it. The SP itself is a decent piece of ballistic. And price is unbeatable. But if you need assistance, you probably won't get it.

Bought the screen protector because of the brand name and because it's price was the same as other lesser known brands. I bought it for my iPad Pro 9.7".It came packaged In a simple but classy and sturdy package. It came with instructions, anker stickers, and a cleaning cloth. The cloth is too small and cheap to be of much use - make sure you have a real microfibre cloth and cleaning solution before putting on the screen.I managed to get the screen on perfectly on the first try and it worked as advertised - the glass quality appears excellent and there were no bubbles but again I didn't use their cloth but my own coupled with screen cleaner. It fit perfectly. Time will tell if it prevents scratches and damage but I've lost a tablet to a child dropping a nexus 7 face down onto a hard coffee shop floor and seen my iPhone saved by a glass protector when dropped face down at an arena so I've got high hopes on this glass.Recommended.

Overall this is an excellent screen protector
Overall this is an excellent screen protector. The product arrived well packaged with clear instructions and a very helpful video on how to actually apply the screen protector properly. Although the process itself is not complicated, it is actually important to watch the video to familiarize yourself with the process, and avoid the need for corrective actions.Once applied, the screen protector feels really good to the touch, and is almost not noticeable when you use the iPad.The price might be a bit high, but this seems like a quality product, that I hope will withstand the daily use and the occasional accidental drop.

Truly great product. Easy installation, fits perfectly.
Great product. The emailed link to the YouTube installation video sent from the vendor was a great help. Fit our iPad Air 2 tablets perfectly. The touch sensitivity is superb and the screen protector, once installed, looks better than the iPad screen. It resists finger prints extremely well. Haven't had to clean the screen nearly as much as before I installed it. I bought two, one for me and one for my husband's. We would definitely recommend this screen protector.
