I think the first month, you get free cloud video. After that month, it's $125 a year to some company that I've never heard of and would never trust giving my credit card number to. Without cloud recording, it's almost useless unless you're live monitoring.At night, the bulb is constantly going on and off, and I don't know why. There is no explanation for it.There is no motion sensing. What you do is screw in the bulb, get it configured, then you can watch live what's going on. And for that first month, it's recording to the cloud, so you can look back and see. But the recordings only get triggered if there is movement.Which brings me to the motion detecting: Not very sensitive. Sure, if you're a human and you've approached the area that the light picks up, you're going to be seen. But I was also using it as a porch critter cam. It doesn't pick up things like cats and skunks and raccoons that are right under the light!Night vision: Not too good. It's almost like you have to have the light closer to the ground level to get a better picture.Picture quality: In the daytime, it's great. Night, not so good.So now, when I turn this light on, I just find myself spot checking live action since I'm not recording to the cloud anymore. All in all, I would NOT recommend this purchase and would have returned it had the time to return not come and gone.

When you first look at this plugged in, it looks just like a fancy light bulb. It's not till you get up close and actually look underneath is when you notice that it's not just a light bulb. The clarity on this is amazingly clear. Even at night, the night vision is clear, especially when things are up close. There's no fuzzy blurred out faces. Not to mention, the light on this is really bright, which definitely helps with that clarity. During the day, you can clearly see all the way to the street. I may not be able to see actually license plate numbers but you can actually make out make and models of vehicles. The app is really easy to use and love the 2 way communication on this. Scared a few kids on Halloween with it.

I expected the light bulb to emit light, this doesn't give a lot of light. I have this in a closet and thank goodness I'm not depending on it for light because it's not very bright. I bought two but sent 1 back. If you're not using this in an overhead light then it's useless. I thought it didn't work and 3 days after trying to get it to work it suddenly came on. It's slow to activate itself after being installed. If there's another way to add a security camera I'd save money and bypass this option.

This camera is not as good as I thought it would be, It does not record, when you get a notification you never see anything. I put it on record, walked around in the yard, tried to playback you don't see nothing. The sound quality isn't very good. I have tried to contact Tech Support, I never heard back from them 3 times. Keep your money.

I installed this bulb in my porch light. The motion detector went off every time a moth flew by so I had to turn that very important feature off. After five months it started flickering. Next it started flickering and making a loud static noise so it I can no longer use it. What a ripoff.

I purchased this for security of course, as well as leaving my son home while on vacation and wanting to see who’s coming and going. The product is amazing, and the price is even better. PROS: Setup was a breeze and the quality of the video is pretty incredible. Two way audio is a pretty cool feature as well. Notifications are great too. CONS: Upon notification, and opening, sometimes the wheel just spins with a message saying “network speed is slow” which is really annoying bec I can get to my door before I see who’s there. Still think it’s a great buy for the money.
