Great product
It does a great job of cleaning the entire case, including the primer pocket. I am a bit paranoid about a few pins staying in my cases as I reload but the media separator seems to do a good job. The ONLY reason I dropped a star is because I'm worried about a pin messing up the barrel if I'm not super careful.

Good pins
Gets the job done. I put somewhere around half of it in a 3lb tumbler with 89 223 cases, lol a little too much brass, not sure it cleaned the way it should. Next run more pins, less brass ect. Overall I really enjoyed the process of tumbling with these pins, they are easy to work with, reusable, easy to separate from the brass.

Excellent choice for wet tumbling brass
I bought these 2.5 lb pellet pins to wet tumble my handgun and rifle brasses in a cheap Harbor Freight Dual Drum Rock tumbler. Each drum can hold 3 lbs so I add 1lb of these pins, dirty brass, and water to 2/3 of each drum. I let rock tumbler on for 2-3 hours. The brass cannot be any shinier. I have done ultrasonic clean, corn cob dry tumbling, other methods of tumbling. Each of these method has pros and cons, but they were never clean and shiny as wet tumbled brasses using these ss pellet pins. I once compared 4 hour dry tumbled brass and 2 hour wet tumbled brass and I could see the difference. These pins are small enough to clean primer pockets and easy to separate from brasses using a little bucket and cheap $5 plastic salad mixer. One "good" thing about these pellets is that they are magnetic which means they do not contain nickel, just chromium in its mixture. So you can use magnets to grab any "lost" pellets from ground, desk, bucket, etc. So with total $50-$60, got me perfect casual brass tumbling process - HF Rock Tumbler, tumbling media, bucket, any brass filtering plastic product such as salad mixer.

Makes old brass new again.
Amazing cleaning ability, this makes old choroded brass new again. A slight knock to the rating though, as these pins are just the right (or wrong) legnth to get stuck sideways in 223 brass.

Best Thing Since Slice Bread
This is the best way to clean your brass hands down compared to anything else out there on the market. These pins clean inside the brass as well as the primer pocket to a brilliant luster with the use of water, dish soap and Lemi shine water softener. If you tumble thr brass overnight you get the best results. If you try this once you will never go back to walnut or corncob media. Also the pin size is so small you do not have to worry about them getting stuck in the flash hole. I am very happy with this product and have cleaned over 600 dirty cases thus far, I have only used 1/2 bag thus far in 1 drum

great price
Follow the instructions and your brass will come out nice. I cycled it once without the brass to get all of the residue and oils off the media. I poured them into a bucket with a squirt of Dawn and swished it a bit. Drained it and dumped all of it into my tumbler with another squirt of Dawn and water. After cycling for 20 minutes or so (without brass), they came out nice and clean. Brass polished up easily. The media is small enough to slide out of the brass. After 300 cases so far, I have yet to find one stick of media stuck in my rifle brass.
