Problem Solved
I have been living in my house in the state of Maryland for 10 yrs. In that time I have lost power to my house about 4 times, Less than 8 hrs each time. This is why I did not want to invest in to a whole house generator. I have a 5000 watts generator that I use for in the event of a power outage. But there was one problem. I was running several extension cords though the house. I did not feel comfortable about this. I am afraid of the cord over loading and catching fire. Nor did I want to invent in to a transfer switch. How with is twin cable, I can connect to the 240v and run only two extension cords. I have a heavy duty 25 foot extension from the generator to the house, two extension cords from the y- connecting running into the house. Problem solved.

Really heavy duty - at a great price
Amazon had this at a price no one could beat. Very well built. Use it with my Generac generator for 120 power and also to split 240v power from a cord that has a male NEMA L14-20 end (with an F-F adapter).

Excellent Value
Plugged in and locked like it should. This plug fits the 20A 220V plugs on most generators. Dont buy the 30 amp 220 one like I did thinking it would be better. They are all different. Read the numbers on the socket on your generator. Havent had it on yet, but I have no doubt it will do what it is advertised to do. Well made. The price is a lot cheaper than dealers.

Yup! I'd buy it again.
Great quality, generous enough length to give user some options. Very nice materials and build. I have no hesitation in leaving this plugged into my generator all night.
