Having struggled with a safety belt clip design for my active dog, I was looking for another design. The side fastener on the safety belt one meant I was constantly having to unclip my dog whilst driving as he got tangled up when he moved around. Because the one I have just bought clips over the headrest, it means my dog can move around far easier, and it also restrains him when I brake hard. It's exactly what I wanted, and I'm delighted with it. The strap is adjustable for the headrest attachment, and also the length of slack I need when attaching the clip to my dog's collar. I believe it would be suitable for any car and any dog. Value for money and practical - thank you!

Fits as expected on to headrest. Good length for medium, large dogs although Can be shorter or extended. Has helped stop my dogs roaming around on the back seat as much as a lower belt allows. less tangled up too. Good price would recommend

I bought these to go with some dog car seats which had a couple of safety issues around the security of the stitched in safety leash. I felt my puppy was very secure with this product on our first car trip out without another adult present. That said, he did try to have a little chew of the leash but he was in the front seat so I just pushed his mouth away from it and he went to sleep. If he was in the back, who knows, but there are sprays to deter chewing and I’m hoping that as he gets used to car rides he won’t try to chew it for long. (I forgot to take his chew stick out with us today, which might also have provided a distraction) As for my senior dog...perfect! The tether comes from above so he can turn around in his seat without getting his legs tangled up.

Very good design, easy to use, however my dog jumped out door and the clip gave way, not sure if this a good or bad design feature.

Excellent item. Decided to purchase at the last minute to use for our medium size dog on a 3 day ferry and road trip from U.K. to southern Spain. Arrived in less than 24 hours from placing order. Length is adjustable and meant he stayed secure but could still move around for comfort along with being able to sit looking out of rear window which is his preferred position. The primary reason I bought this is he likes to try to jump out of the boot as the door opens automatically. As we would be having many comfort stops for him plus the possibility of the boot door being opened by security at the ferry ports, this and a lightweight harness solved the problem.

Aggiornamento dopo un po di giorni si utilizzo: La cintura è di buona fattura, sulla mia macchina (ford fiesta 2009) risulta molto lunga quindi il mio cane non è molto protetto dal cadere dal sedile, su quella di mio marito (kia sportage) è perfetta. Arrivato nel tempo previsto. La chiusura non è come nell'immagine ma non credo sia un problema. Sembra un po' lunga per proteggere i finestrini dalle unghiate. Lo proverò in questi giorni e aggiornerò la recensione. La cinghia è molto robusta spero resista al calore e all'usura.

The fastener is far too small, even for small dogs. This is not a safe attachment - it would very easily break in an emergency.

These worked great for both our dog and cat on our 6000 cross country trip. Enough length so they could move around without moving to the front seat when attached to back headrests. If the passenger wanted a little cat love on the move we attached the cat to the front seat head rest. Easy to install and remove. Sturdy enough to use as a leash in a pinch. Highly recommend these.
