Just OK
Pro's:-Fairly cheap-Comes with headband cushion-Installs easy-Inner earpad pleather/vinyl seems better than stockCon's:-Design is little rough around the edges-Headband cushion is like 5mm short, there will be gaps on one or both sides depending on where you paste it-Material isn't as soft as stock earpads, it's actually kind of rough/scratchy fabric, like slightly itchy wool.-Material is significantly darker in shade than stock earpads (just a slight subjective con though)-Cushion is way too thick (your ears will always touch it) and firmer than stock earpads, pulls your ears too far away from headphones, which messes with the sound characteristics, effectively downgrading your audio quality. You need to up the volume quite a bit to get the same loudness, and it muddles up the bass. It's almost like listening to a stereo in another room vs facing the speakers. When I press down on the headphones to put my ears closer, I can hear a massive difference in fidelity. So these definitely are just too thick.-Product didn't come in perfect condition, there was clearly some issues with the surface of the fabric here and there.-Headband pad sticky part seems very cheap, but sticks. Not sure how long it will hold up.The padding material in the headband is more like the material in the stock earpads, much softer. That's what they should have used in the earpads, and made the earpad padding half as thick. They're just OK, but they could have easily been better for even less material usage. I'm still tempted to just buy the stock earpads from sennheiser, you don't realize how well designed they are for comfort until you use something like this. The only problem is the stock ones aren't cheap and tend to fall apart after a few years because the thinner inner vinyl material cracks and the fabric comes apart from it. But they are definitely much better than these in every way but for the inner backing vinyl/pleather.These are OK in a pinch, but I would just suggest that if people have any issues with the cons I listed, they should just re-buy the stock earpads or some other more expensive higher quality third party, and get a headband somewhere else. But if you want the cheapest possible and aren't too picky, these could work for you. But I feel like even people who think they aren't picky, would want something better once they tried these. If the headband cushion was as stiff as the earpads, I would have called these a complete non buy. That's really the only thing that saved it, because if the headband was as stiff as the earpads, you'd definitely have soreness on the top of your head from wearing them. I constantly feel the need to have to adjust them because the earpads are just too stiff. Even the first 10 minutes of wearing them, I was getting soreness around my ears.I hope whoever is making these takes this review to heart and considers making some changes to the design, because they can probably make this product much better and possibly even cheaper to produce. You only need about half the foam you used. And if you could find a slightly softer fabric material, that'd be great. Also I think if these came in a white or off white, that'd be great too. Make changes like these, and I think they'd fly off the shelves as a solid budget replacement for the stock stuff.

Slightly different size than stock
The ear pads were a slightly wider diameter than the original, which negated some of the ear space i wanted going with Sennheisers. Good enough replacement.Headband is shaped to go on one way; only one side is curved.

Accurate replacement part
This item is as exact to the original as anyone could expect. I really could perceive no differences. The dimensions are the same, the fabric material seems the same. The pleather backing the foam on the inside is the same. The foam is likely the same as new, though some say it's more stiff. I think that may have to do with their old foam being aged and beaten down over time. The plastic backing is properly shaped and clicks into place easily. I would call these perfect. However, the foam on the included headband, while shaped well, seems to be a little on the soft side and the fabric color is slightly different. I have the 595's which have a faux leather covered headband pad so this isn't really the right part for me but it could still work as a replacement.

Nice
These are well made easy to install and bring new life to my HD598’s. Just used the ears pads not the headband replacement.

They can be deceptively difficult to install in Sennheiser HD598
I thought i bought the wrong ear covers. It says compatible with HD598 but nothing was fitting how it should. If this happens likely the cloth peeled away from the plastic base, and the plastic base is still in the headphone.I had to wiggle one of the plastic outer rings and pull a bit from underneath, but finally the plastic base of the old headphone pad popped out. After that outer ring pops out, then it should be clear that these new headphone pads just pop right in.If you pull the headphones out of your old phone and they dont have a hard plastic base, it's still in the headphone.

I'd buy them again
I didn't notice any interference with sound quality as some other reviews have mentioned, but I'm also no audiophile so maybe I just don't notice. They seem comfortable enough, and I'm sure after some use they'll "break in" a bit too. All in all I would buy these again if I need replacements further down the road.

Fantastic so far
Awesome replacements for the original for a good price. I can't really tell the ear pads apart besides a miniscule color difference (my originals are *slightly* darker), and I like that they replaced the plasticky headband with the earpad velour material.I have had them for about 2 months with no quality concerns yet, however it took about 2.5 years for my OE pads to tear along the inside seam so I can't truly say the durability is comparable yet.

Not "HD598 Ear Pads"
Definitely not what I expected from this package. The Ear Pads were a different color(lighter/different brown) and the material was also different(stiffer, cheaper) from the headband. The material used for the padding on the Ear Pads was much more aggressive/stiff; thus, made my ears hurt after an hour of use. I did not use the headband but the material on it is very similar to what I expected the ear pads to be. Not a bad product at all. Satisfies the qualities of earpads and headband replacement (for HD598 in my case); however, I expected a bit more similarity between the original HD598 pads and these.

Fair quality for a low price
If I had the option I would keep buying Sennheiser's official replacement parts for my HD 598's, but Sennheiser AU said they're no longer in production. So instead I decided to look for some 3rd party replacements until I can afford to buy a new headset. These replacement ear pads seem to be slightly smaller and a little more firm then the originals but I am still able to wear them for long gaming sessions no problem. The headband replacement had some trouble staying on the first few days and I can only assume it was due to the heatwave we were having, now it's stuck on good.Overall I'm satisfied with the low price.

Nicht wie das Original
Die Ohrpolster erledigen ihren Zweck und das war's auch schon. An die Qualität der Originale kommen die nicht ran.
