18" AAX X-Plosion Crash Cymbal, Brilliant Finish

I now have a 14, 16, 17, and 18" X-Plosion crash. Pricey but worth every penny. They look amazing and sound even better.

damn good cymbal...been moving from Paiste to Sabian recently as Paiste has gotten so cheap with their newer products, meaning lower weight of brass...Sabian however is really coming through with some great value

Although ive been playing drums for over 8 years i only recently began to seriously invest in my kit. I have zildjian zbt hats, ride, and splash which are mid-level quality cymbals so at first I was reluctant to spend over $100 on a single 16" crash. But i did my research and heard nothing but great things about the AAXplosion series so I bought it and WOW. Worth every penny. Not only does this cymbal have a brilliant finish but it sounds awesome and it is LOUD. If you are serious about your drumming I would seriously suggest overlooking inferior crashes and kicking in the extra cash for this excellent sabian crash its a little expensive but if taken care of properly, these things are an investment which you can later resell for not far from what you paid for it.

Very nice, high quality cymbal. I did have a shipping issue, but I was able to resolve it fairly quickly.

Buena calidad y sonido

Got the 19 to add to my collection and I am glad I did. This thing is a beast, great crash that cuts through, can also ride it, nice swells, a very musical sounding cymbal.

I’m used to zils and with that being said- this cymbal is ok, but it’s a little too sunshine and rainbows for me. I bought it to replace my strong side 18 A Custom and there is just no comparison. It will either end up as a back up or be that crash I hit when I’m playing classic rock and is an under tuck. 286.00 can’t complain too much. Doesn’t look like it will last long under a heavy hitter like myself

I bought this cymbal not too long ago to enhance my set and I must say that this is a great crash. It's nice and bright (but not overly bright),nice and loud, and has a great attack. I absolutely love the AAX line of Sabian cymbals and I recommend this and the 18 inch X-plosion as well, which I also have. Everyone talks about Zildjian A customs and they're great, but I think the AAX's are as good or better.

Great X-PLOSION like they say ,and great bell sound.Fnnnnnn loud as hell ! my ears drums rattle i kid you not !

If you’re debating whether to buy these cymbals then do it. You won’t regret it. Unless you like really dark cymbals, but even still they’re very versatile!

AT FIRST I WAS SKEPTICAL ABOUT THIS CYMBAL, WANTED TO GO FOR AN HHX , BUT THIS CYMBAL SOUNDED TOO GOOD. ONE OF THE BEST OPTION FOR METAL DRUMMERS, (SERVES OTHER GENERES ALSO )
