Kickstand for magnum e-bike
My magnum e-bike kickstand broke in half on the screw plate. Found this stand which is almost identical to the original factory made. The magnum site wanted almost $50 for a replacement. This wine worked perfectly I had it installed in about 3 min. Extremely satisfied and highly recommend this one it is very study and holds the bike up as it should.

Would be great with slight modification
The media could not be loaded. I built an eBike that weighs 60lbs. A bit heavy. This will be my third attempt at installing a kickstand that will hold this thing up. I'm using a yard sale steel frame bike that was originally sold by a "big name" big box store, probably the biggest on the planet. Nothing special at all.The original mounting bracket broke off so I have to use the "sandwich" between frame method. What I don't understand is why the mounting plate is so small. The bike I have is a normal frame. I compared it to five other bikes, and they are all basically the same size.If you look at the picture I provide that shows the underside of the kickstand where it attaches to the frame, you will notice that its really not wide enough to fit between the frame rails. If the mounting plate was just ½" wider it would be fine.Since I liked the kickstand and I am a fabricator, I simply made a plate to fit between the kickstand mounting plate and bike frame and bolted it on.I will never understand the Bike World fascination with Allen screws. I personally hate them. I used a normal 10mmx70mm 1.5 thread pitch (which matches the kickstand) bolt to install the kickstand. I had planned to put a nut on the bottom, but that isn't possible, so you can use a 60mm long bolt instead of the 70mm I used if you also hate Allen screws. Using a bolt means I get to use a ratchet and actually tighten the bolt effortlessly also. :-)It is easy to adjust for crankshaft and wheel clearance. Even though the kickstand is large, clearance (on my junky bike) is not a problem. So far, as of this writing, this kickstand is great. Solid, holds the heavy bike up perfect. In my video I show where I just let go of the bike and it doesn't wobble, just stands solid. I note that others complained of this kickstand breaking, and I will report back if that happens.I like the solid feel when you open and close the kickstand, very impressive.Since this is a 40MPH work bike (2600 miles in the last year) and I'm not concerned with appearance, this kickstand is perfect for me.Now, if they just make the mounting plate slightly larger and get rid of the stupid Allen screws I'll give it 5 stars.Still recommended however. (if it doesn't break)Edit March 2025I like this kickstand so much, I bought one for my second electric bike. The second one bolted directly to the bike (using a real bolt, not an Allen bolt)The first one has 6000 miles on it (not that it matters to a kickstand) and is still working great, did not break.Highly recommended.

Perfect for e-bikes
I was having trouble with other stands not being strong enough for an e-bike and not standing up on soft surfaces or rocks. I got this one and it’s perfect! Super sturdy and the base is wide enough to hold up on all surfaces. Plus you can adjust the length so it doesn’t lean the bike too far over

Perfect for my Surly Disc Trucker
Surly tries to discourage folks from attaching a kickstand but having ridden thousands of fully loaded miles without a kickstand I was desperate to finally get one. I ordered this one on a lark because it was cheaper than the double ones recommended but I am really surprised at the quality of this one. It was easy to attach and it's solid. You need to adjust it before tightening to make sure your pedal won't hit it, but other than that this is great. I wish I bought this six years ago.

Adapted perfectly to my bike frame
Fit my beach cruiser bike perfectly and as advertised it’s very strong and supports my bike perfectly (1 minute to adjust the length of the stand) when engaged.
