This solar panel exceeded my expectations. It is compact, lightweight, and very easy to use, thanks to the clear instructions and included accessories. It works great for keeping the battery charged when the vehicle isn't used frequently, and the indicator light makes it easy to see that it is receiving solar power and functioning correctly. Go with the 10W version. This 1.8W version is useless.
The power output of this 1.8W version is not enough to charge a battery to any useful degree. Standby power drain of almost any car exceeds what this can put out during a day. After having this connected for 2 weeks, my new battery had dropped from 90% to 75% state of charge, which is almost exactly what it was without this charger. I recommend buying at least 10W version. The good news is that the device itself is well made and came with good accessories for connecting directly to battery or using cigarette lighter if you car keeps that powered when off. So get the 10W version from same seller and you will be in better shape.

Doesn’t charge car battery
Item doesn’t work. Tried using on my vehicle. Left the clamps on my battery for 8 days. Battery never charged at all. Went back to my plug in charger

Customer service may save this one, replacing possible issue part
**Update - They have real customer service and reached out. They are sending a replacement panel in hopes this resolves the issue. I greatly appreciate this attention to service and hope this does fix the issue. I have increased the rating based on their interactions. THANK YOU Set it up following the instructions and some videos to make sure we were doing it correctly. Left and when we got back we had to buy a new battery. It was drained deader then a vampire. It was to late to return when we got back. We had a great one but misplaced it and got this. Fail
