It could not be more charming! It's NOT heavy-duty - not for huge wind and storm! but for hot, hot outdoor times - standing in line, strolling about, attending events - such a fine way to keep the sun from frying one to cinders. The unusual shape makes it, too! Very, very happy with the purchase. Note: though not "heavy duty", as I mentioned, it is light, very well made, and treated properly should last a good long while.

I purchased this to get relief from the sun. It has a large circumference, and the nylon keeps me protected from the sun, provides cooling, is easy to carry, and is necessary in the summer in Florida. I got lots of comments about this unique parasol. Everyone loves it when I use it because it is unusual.

Do you love gothic, dark romance, moody or vampire esthetics? This is your thing. I purchased it because my 16 year old wanted to be a gothic vampire for Halloween..the activities were daytime at the beach where we go every year, and he felt this was add to the effect..the sun vs vampires and all. We did grungy ours up a but for a 1000 year old ancient demon spawn effect. Generality purposes, well made, great look.. get one to protect your whitest of white goth skin and go be unmistakably beautifully spooky

THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION: yes, it is massive. it comfortably covers my entire body better than even a normal umbrella does. it provides shade for me and probably a good sized child at least. The umbrella is made out of a very nice material, rougher than a normal umbrella, but not too rough. the kind of material that most likely houses a heart of good once you get to know it. it has a pretty easy to use and well designed button and lever system that doesn’t take a lot of force to push and won’t dig into your fingers (if you have them). the umbrella itself is quite long when folded up due to its excessively large tip (which is pretty solid and hasn’t scratched despite my constant dropping and banging of it like a spooked caveman). the handle is much thinner than you’d think, and it’s wrapped in pleather. the seams do make it a little difficult to comfortably grasp, but as long as you aren’t white-knuckling like an absolute lunatic it it’s not too bad. the only thing about it that i don’t really like is the polka dots in the white parts. although i begrudgingly admit that’s my most likely fault; because not only can i not read, i also lack the ability to open my f****** eyes. did i mention the tip is obscenely long? because although some people might like that, i unfortunately did not graduate nor attend christian greys freak school for nerds. seriously, this thing is like 4” long. wouldn’t mind it so much if i wasn’t fruitlessly and fruitily attempting to stuff it into a suitcase. in short: 9/10, good parasol on a budget, i look forward to the vitamin d deficiency i will inevitably contract from overuse of this. will buy again when a strong gust of wind either inevitably cuts its life short, or carries me off like mary poppins. we shall see which happens first.

Perfect for the sun

This is my favorite umbrella I have ever owned. I absolutely love it. Blocks out the sun and rain. Nice material that water just rolls off of. Super cute. I love this umbrella for my rainy island days!

The material is very thin, the wire is extremely weak. I expected something much more durable/rugged

I take this everywhere with me. I love it. Its lightweight, durable and has such a unique look. So handy for the blazing sun it makes events much more enjoyable.

The description doesn't state that it's cream coloured with polka dots and not white Difficult to put up and down

Been waiting for rain and minimal wind to try this umbrella. There was a little wind, which did not damage it, but plenty of rain. Umbrella kept me dry. So many compliments over the umbrella, definitely an eye catcher. Easy to put up and take down.

Bought for my daughter and she loves it! Very pretty. Will see how it holds up in the rain but the spokes look fragile, so will be careful on windy days.
