Comfort Touch: Massage for the Elderly and the Ill (Volume 1) (LWW In Touch Series)

I mainly ordered this book to get the video demo for the Comfort Touch techniques. I thought the $65.00 would be worth it. Well, you can no longer access it because they use an outdated application.--Adobe Flash.The book itself is fine, but I have other excellent books similar to this one from Tracey Walton and Gayle MacDonald.

The book corresponds to a class I took for professional massage therapy CEU's It was organized well and corresponds to the class I took. It is a good reminder of information I need when working with the ill and the elderly. I am using this information in my work with hospice residents.

This is an excellent book for anyone who works or wants to work with this demographic.As more and more of our population ages, it will become vitally important for increasing numbers of massage therapists to develop these skills. This book is a great resource.

Way overpriced for size and scope of information presented. This is listed as a textbook, but it's a very thin paperback booklet. Some good information, nothing very unique, and certainly not for this price.

This is an extremely well-written book about an amazing group of techniques. Although Comfort Touch can be used by massage therapists, it also can be utilized by family members and healthcare workers. You may not believe how effective it is until you experience giving and receiving it yourself. Learning Comfort Touch has changed my life.
