1) LIGHTWEIGHT: I have another solar watch which weighs 10.58 ounces - too heavy. This women's Bering slim solar watch 1.14 ounces. That is a huge difference.2) NO GLASS CONTAINER: I want to point out the the package is not a glass candle holder but a cardboard cylinder. Doesn't matter to me but in case you were looking forward to a glass container, I want you to know that it no longer is packaged as in the images.3) CHARGE: The watch came fully discharged which means that it was inside the cardboard box for more than 6 months without any light source. I received the watch in the late afternoon so it was too late to charge in sunlight. I hung the watch over an LED light and it started working in less than 15 minutes... however, it needed a full charge. Per the Bering site, the initial charge requires 24 hours exposure to sunlight.4) BEAUTY: This is a piece of art. The watch face is beautiful and the band is superior coated stainless steel. Since I have nickel allergies, the band material is critical.5) WATER RESISTANT: Be fully aware that this is water resistant but not water proof. Bering states you can shower with it but not to swim or submerge.I highly recommend this Solar Slim model for anyone wanting the qualities I mentioned.

I love this watch! I can't stand large gaudy watches or jewelry on me as I have tiny little girl wrists, and I absolutely hate having to change a watches battery. For those reasons this watch is perfect for me. The solar keeps it going and the simple sleek feminine design is right up my alley. As a bonus, I wear this watch constantly and that includes at my job where I can honestly say I smash and bang it all the time while I work my a** off. Despite the constant abuse it has zero scratches on the face of the watch or the sides. I am noticing a bit of bending in the links and expect that eventually it will need a new band, but so far it has really held up well. As a side note, it took some serious initial charging to get it to work at first, but once I did it has no problems.

The watch is lovely. Much information came with it, but nothing to explain how the solar cell works. It must be exposed to sunlight not just lamp light. So far the charge is not lasting through a long winter's night, so I don't know if it accumulates energy or it just won't be a good watch to use in the winter.

I loved the style of this watch but the band and the watch face are both darker grey. than what is shown. The watch face is so dark, it's hard to see the numbers. The band was very comfortable but almost black in color.

It’s very easy to read and looks amazing when dressing up or going casual.

Second hand dislodged within 12 hours of receiving it - so disappointed. Really love this watch, so I’m giving them a second chance. Will update if second watch hold up better.UPDATE: purchased another watch while waiting for the return to clear. The second watch has been working great for >1 year!

Solar is the only way to go! No wasting money on batteries. Plus, this watch is lightweight and elegant. I purchased the gray.

This was a present for my mother. She loves it.

I love this watch, it looks beautiful, just as the pictures show it. It was beautifully packaged, (but if you are buying it as a gift, you’d want to open it up, remove the bubble wrap and charge it up!).It charged up really quickly and so far is keeping good time! The strap is easy to adjust and the fastener feels really secure with 2 fastenings, so I can’t imagine it could ever come off accidentally!I’m really pleased with the watch and feel it’s been a good purchase!

Received today. Purchased for solar Battery (supposedly 3 year working life). This does not work despite leaving on window sill to jump start solar engine. What a wast of time yet again Amazon your products lately have been dysfunctional, broken, wrong colour, wrong size whatever has happened you cannot blame Covid 9 for this! Refund required

My wife loved this watch, its style, looks and materials were beautiful. I bought it for her Xmas 2019. Maybe it was just her , but she did find the catch a bit fiddly and then it fell off her wrist somewhere in our local supermarket.Never to be found again. Very, very sad.

I received a more expensive man’s Bering watch in the box labelled correctly for the women’s watch.Returned and waiting for refund which us taking a lot longer than expected.I daren’t order the same one as a replacement because it could be a whole batch.

This is my second Bering watch. I love the rose gold and grey tones.
