I have been using this for years. As others mentioned it does have a harsh taste but I typically mix it with juice or my pre-workout. Great product, quick absorption, and delivers results. Recently tried standard creatine again to see if I liked it better, but switched right back to this brand

Probably the best creatine I’ve ever used. Creatine monohydrate makes my stomach upset, that’s why I switched to this one and it does not upset my stomach at all! It mixes well with water, but it’s VERY sour. It does not have a smell to it but if you inhale it will cause some nose irritation for a second. Does not cause any side effects like jitters. I do think the size is very small for the price but creatine HCl is generally more expensive. Well worth it.

I purchase this item on a regular basis. Just getting around to writing a review now. Creatine HCL will always be more expensive than the monohydrate counterpart, but definitely worth it. The solubility is much better/faster with no grittiness like monohydrate. It will alter the taste of whatever you mix it into, but not necessarily in a bad way. It makes the drink more sour/tart, which if you mix it with a decent electrolyte, actually enhances the taste in my opinion.

This creatine works well. It mixes into water, and it doesn't cause bloating like monohydrate. Gives me a great pump and I notice the difference in the gym. The cost is acceptable, not the cheapest but not the most expensive either. The taste is truly horrible. Taking it is the worst part of my day. It is more sour than pure lemon juice. It is disgusting. But it works.

EDIT: Price literally doubled in last month and is no longer available directly through them. Looks like i'm moving on to another product. Sigh. I've used this for 2 months so far, and have seen definite muscle/strength gains without the intestinal discomfort I get whenever I take Creatine Monohydrate (which ultimately leads to diaherrea). I no longer use nor buy "cheap" workout supplements, or any cheap supplements, way too many included bits of unhealthy garbage in so many of them, you really have to watch it. This brand and its quality seem to be top notch, provide a very good value as well. This powder is dry, clean and like all Creatine, extremely bitter-tasting. I either mix it in a protein shake or just blend it with a little water and chug it down quick - a quick bitter beer face ensues and that's it. If you are willing to forego the least expensive, easiest, safest way to gain muscle from a natural supplement, because of a few seconds of bitterness, I don't know what to tell you. It leads me to believe such people aren't willing to put in the effort in the gym either possibly, as that's usually a heck of a lot more pain and work than whoofing-down a tiny amount of watered-down powder where the taste lasts for maybe 3-5 seconds. I take this after each workout, not before, as studies have shown Creatine is best absorbed and most needed and beneficial when your muscles "need" it - i.e. post-workout. If I'm still feeling sore the day after, I will also take a serving then as well. Literally no other supplement has increased my strength and lean muscle mass like Creatine HCI. I am 50 years old now and am still building muscle and strengthening parts of my body that I've neglected in the past, I could not make nearly as much progress without this supplement, taken regularly/as you should.

HORRIBLE taste. It says unflavored but it is the most sour awful taste (and i love everything sour). It is impossible to swallow - even if mixed with sweeter drinks like apple juice

I've been using this product for almost a year. Compared to other brands, Beyond Raw is lab-grade and very high-potency, so you get what you pay for. Though this isn't sponsored, I recommend this product to everybody, and it's available at GNC. Best creatine ever, especially for women who struggle with bloating from monohydrate. Creatine definitely changed my body composition in the best way, and everybody of all ages should take creatine. I'm currently in school with the National Academy of Sports Medicine, getting my NCAA-accredited CPT, CNC, PES, and CES certifications.

Tastes like lemons. DO NOT mix with your morning coffee like other creatine. Super salty. Definitely did not give me the bloat that monohydrate does.

It was beyond zesty, couldn’t drink even after diluting it in a lot of water. Possible that this packaging was expired even though the date was expired.
