Xfactor Hydro® 3.5 Gallon Black Bucket

I purchased this bucket with locking/screw on lid to make it airtight so I could use it for a litter pail. I placed a cheap plastic bag inside to keep it clean, but use it for litterbox refuse daily. When it gets full enough I change out the plastic bag, this makes it easier for me to store the used/smelly cat litter until I have time or the weather permits me to take it out to the recycling dump. Before I had been using the Genie-thing but the bags got too expensive and I was going through a lot of them. Trying to use cheap plastic bags in the Genie didn't keep the smell from leaching out. With this bucket the smell can't get out and I can easly remove/replace the lid when needed. I could of course use the bucket without a plastic bag but I would probably have to take it out and wash the inside often, so with a cheap liner it will stay clean, no washing required. All-in-all I'm pleased with the outcome of this project and the bucket!

A little pricey for a bucket, but it's exactly what I was looking for. I wanted something a little smaller than the usual hardware store 5 gallon buckets and its a nice bonus that its not covered in logos, stickers, etc and comes in a subdued black. I also purchased the Gamma Seal Lid, which fits perfectly. I am currently using the bucket to make my own worm tea, so its nice to have the lid to keep things contained while moving around.

I live in a condo with no way to water my flowers during the summer. This little bucket is perfect for filling in my sink then carrying the water out to the plants. Granted, I have only had it a month, so time will tell how good of quality it is, but thus far, I am pleased. (And I now apologize for my run-on sentence.)

but I have to make sure not to put things too heavy on top of it next time I wonder if they sell something like a basket lid so I can stack it with the stacker pot with out it bend the rims

What can i say? It's a black 3 gallon bucket. Time will tell if it is as sturdy as it looks.

Works as advertised and perfect size for my intended application.
