i was annoyed at the two windows i have by my front door as i had no privacy, so i decided to take a bet and get this film to see if i could DIY a privacy window... so I did. i got my xacto knife, a squeegee, a spray bottle and a prayer and i got to work... man, it was SO easy to install. i'd say the hardest thing was measuring everything, but if you leave some allowance when you're cutting, you can trim it as you're installing it. my nightmares of being stalked through the windows are a thing of the past now!another tip is: be patient, measure twice and cut once, make sure every surface is clean before starting.

Will be repurchasing more rolls for areas in the home. It has improved the temperature in our living area where it receives full sunlight throughout the day. Plus it prevents others from looking in during the day. The film is pretty thick and easy to install.

My only complaint is that I wish that this somehow came with a cutting tool.Warning do not assume you’ll be fine with household scissors, unless they’re razor sharp it’s a noI got the job done with a metal credit card, a bottle of warm water and a tiny bit of hand soap mixed together, and one of those hand held razor holders.Not gonna lie it was a little annoying, only because the product is like cutting through rubber. I tried using fully open scissors but quickly had to find a razor for the job and it was still a little bit sketchy. Def need a utility knife or exacto knife of some kind for 0 difficulty but obviously my fault for not being prepared.For my window type it took about an hour start to finish, I’m happy with the outcome you can clearly make out anything held directly up against the film but from a few inches away it’s anyone’s guess, plenty for the distance walking beside the door in this hallway so I’m happy. Also it gives off doctors office or receptionist window vibes doesn’t look redneck or anything I can’t complain for the price either.If you have steady hands and some patience this product is sweet, finished my door and I still have a crap ton of film left for whatever else 4/5 recommended

I loved this film for my front door. Had to order a second roll bc I ran out of film for my last window. See product size to avoid this mistake. I love the privacy it adds while still allowing natural light to come in during the day!

I went back and read the description more closely. Do not use on Double Pane! I will be taking the film off now. Darn it. It took me three hours to put it on but I can’t take the chance of blowing out the gas inside my double pane windows. I wish I had read the warning first!

This film worked perfectly! We had bright intense sun coming in our big windows and shining on our guitars. That can ruin guitars. So we found this film and thought that’d be a better option than blinds since our windows are triangle shape. It was fairly easy to install, a bit time consuming for our four windows, but the result is great! We used a credit card to smooth out bubbles. We also used plain water as in the instructions. I had read other reviews where people used soapy water but we followed the directions that were in the box. It’s been a week since we put the film up and it’s still doing great.

Perfect for this older property with a bathroom window that used to have blinds. Took the dirty blinds off and put this frost film for privacy instead and it looks so much better and works like a charm! Love this item and will order more for sections of other windows!Definitely recommend.

This was so easy to put on! We used it to add to our glass doors in the TV stand to hide games etc.There are bubbles, but they can’t be seen because there’s no sun behind. Definitely could have used a card to scrape them out.Had no issues with edges being uneven.Took off one star because we had to take the corners down, but otherwise love the product.
