Planet Eden 70% Glycolic Acid Chemical Skin Peel Kit with Hyaluronic Acid + 2.5% Retinol Serum and Fan Brush - Get your Glow Back!

I have been using Planet Eden glycolic peels for over four years now and this product works beautifully when used with caution and responsibility. I begin my rinsing my face with cold water and patting it dry to prepare for the peel. Then, using the fan brush, I apply a layer or two of the acid and let it sit for absolutely no more than 3 minutes. The most I have ever done was 3 minutes and 30 seconds, and at that point I started noticing small water blisters which indicated that was the most my skin could handle before it turned into a more serious burn. After 3 minutes, I neutralize with baking soda and water, then splash my face for about 30 seconds with cold water. I have to add - this acid BURNS. Badly. And it continues to burn for about 30 minutes after you rinse it off too. This is normal. After rinsing, I gently pat dry with a towel, then slug with aquaphor for the next 18 hours. After about two days, my skin usually starts to get very crusty and dry as all of the sun damage rises to the surface of my skin. I usually don’t look too cute during this 24h period. Finally, on around days 4-6, my skin starts to peel. From there, the results are lovely! Skin texture appears more even, sun damage is gone, and pores appear smaller. Please use responsibly!

First time trying a glycolic acid peel. I am seasoned in tca peels. So my review cannot really compare it with other peels. But wanted to review my experience for other potential customers. Negatives: it burned pretty badly and when I went to neutralize it with the instructed neutralizer it didn't really work but burned worse. Lots of cold water is what actually neutralized it. I'd be very careful if you had sensitive skin or maybe purchase their neutralizer and see if that works better. I put the product on exactly as directed and worked quickly. I did have a couple of burns. It was on my face for a total of 3 to 4 mins. Be very careful and start out with a lower percentage as they directed in instructions. I didn't use the brush included. I found that the guaze is more accurate and quick when applying. It also caused a bad burning sensation for the rest of the night. I kept a cool wet cloth on my face for relief. Positives.... it was worth the pain. Lol. I used their serum included in purchase, followed by the recovery cream purchased separately. And also put on a heavy creamed eucerin moisturizer 2x a day. The peeling on my face was pretty minimal and recovery time has been quick. I also used sunblock with a strong spf following peel. Honestly... my face looks amazing!! My large pores on my nose have shrunk in size. My wrinkles are lighter and softer in appearance. My coloring on my face is more even and the skin itself is more even textured. I really loved the after results of this product. All in all it was worth the purchase and the small amount of burning for the results it provided. I will be using this again and again. Just be careful and listen to their instructions. Lol. ♡

I have been using the glycolic and lactic acid skin peels for at least 5 years now (layered) and I can’t quit! Although I’ve had my share of mishaps (too long resulting in burn), I’ve learned to apply and remove responsibly. THIS PEEL REMOVES LAYERS OF SKIN. IT WILL DO DAMAGE WHEN USED IRRESPONSIBLY. With that being said, I can save myself the $ from going to the spa. Same stuff and I can stay in my PJs. Thank you Planet Eden.

its so so...... it gave a really uneven peel, in a few patches here and there. i think it could have been stronger, did nothing to my forehead ,just a very light flaking. i used the serum after the peel,during the healing process,and it makes the scabs heal quickly.,and peel .......that part i liked. left it on for over a minute, slight stinging but nothing over the top. thats my skin anyway. good luck!

I use them to peel my scars or dark spot it work great but you have to use them as directed

I used this product, and I followed the instructions, but I now have a permanent mark on my forehead where the top layer of my skin was entirely peeled off. I have brown skin, so now I have a massive patch of pale skin on my forehead. I will forever need to cover it with hair bangs.

Love this product, burns but not as bad as a professional chemical peel. Will buy again when out, cleaned my skin right up and made it so soft.

Love love love this peel kept on for 4 minutes with two layers it always burns when neutralizing which is normal then rinse with cool water. I usually don’t peel when using this, but it works from the inside out and you don’t have to peel for you to have great results. It will still work. Then I applied all my serums Hyaluronic and the retinol that came with it and Neutrogena face cream. I do it every week until i am happy then to maintain i will So it once a month. Will always purchase .
