I like the product itself, but it came too late. Some one got my number wrong.

We purchased this printer due to the advertised consumable cost and the ability to handle heavier cardstock. While the printer performs reasonably well, the consumable cost is nowhere near what OKI advertises. We have had so many issues, including some related to firmware errors that was causing printer to dump toner to waste toner cartridge. OKI's customer service was terrible, and even though they found issues that were causing some of the high consumption, they refused to replace any of the toner. We bought this printer for $3400 a little over a year ago and have had to replace image drums every 5 or 6 months. Each time that's over $2000. Toner is consumed at more than twice the rate OKI advertises. Cost of ownership of this printer is VERY high. I would highly recommend not purchasing this printer.

I agree with the person who mentioned the consumables being high cost. I had an Xanté CL30 and the drums and toner were half the cost of this printer. I think Oki's plan here is selling the razor cheap and making up for it by charging an arm and a leg for the blades. Too bad. It does a nice job with solids and halftones. Just wish I can afford to keep it running. Look at Xanté for you printer needs.

Does a better job than my 7775 Xerox
DO NOT BUY THE C911dn!! Instead spring for the few extra bucks for the C931dn.Consumables are less for twice the product.I have had one ( 931) for over a year and a half in a commercial print shop. Does a better job than my 7775 Xerox. I believe Oki builds most Zante machines.
