La Rochelle Antique Medallion California King Bedspread, White

I just received my two beautiful bedspreads. The weight is medium and the pattern is beautiful. I have tempurpedic twin beds which are rather high twin beds. The bedspread has 3 in fringe on 3 edges. The width of the bedspread, not counting the fringe, is 75 inches so it is only 81 inches wide (product dimension indicated it was 82 inches wide) including the fringe. The inch discrepancy is critical for my beds. I have since ordered full sized bedspreads in this style assuming the width will be off by an inch or so like the twin bedspreads are. The twin bedspreads are approximately 6.5 inches off the floor on either side. The full size spreads are supposed to be 96 inches (81 plus the needed 13 inches more indicates that the 96 inch spreads may be a couple of inches long but again given the shorter than stated width of the twin spreads, it may work nicely. Have not laundered but if during laundering there is any shrinkage, the extra length will be helpful. The length of 110 inches in long enough to tuck in a pillow. The shams are pretty as well. I would and did buy again. Very nice bedspreads.Now I'm going on 3 years with these bedspreads. They washed up nicely but had to wash in load each alone. I noticed only minimal shrinkage. The spreads still look very nice. I'm about to buy the same bedspread in the King size bedspread. I wanted a traditional bedspread. Ive been using comforter type spreads for years and am tired of the fluffy or heavy comforters. Going back to a simpler style.

I love the old-fashioned look. It looks shiny in the picture, but it isn't at all. Therefore I like it better than I thought I would. It's warm on top of lighter covers, but the spread by itself isn't too heavy or too warm.

This product had a flaw right in the middle of it and started unraveling within two months of purchase. A $140 bed spread should be exchangeable within that amount of time. Online buyers beware!

This is an awesome bedspread. I saw the review about shrinking and was concerned, but that did not happen at all with mine after laudering It still fit great and looks awesome and I'd buy another if it came in different colors.

After reading the reviews about shrinkage of this bedspread I ordered a king size thinking that I would need that size for a queen 4 poster Victorian bed since it is high off the floor----wrong--I did not like the look of it touching the floor. I returned it for the Queen size and it is perfect and absolutely one of the most beautiful, elegant bedspreads that I have ever seen. Ipurchased it to be used as a summer bedspread and I sleep with it ON the bed and it does NOT wrinkle at all. I do NOT plan on washing it, I will have it dry cleaned to preserve its beauty. I purchased only one sham and find that the simple look with ONE sham is more of a classic elegant look than with 2 shams. All I can say is: WOW--it is stunning and I would order it again without question.

Very pleased with my purchase of the spread and matching shams. Good quality for the price, weight of the fabric is heavy enough not to feel flimsy. I really like the spread being a larger size, so that no dust ruffle needed.

Great, heavy quality - fits my CalKing perfectly - and then some. It might shrink - but I haven't washed it yet. Even if it does - it'll still fit, as it's over-sized. But I would recommend following the manufacturer's care/washing instructions.
