This worked great on my 2009 f150. I got the 50 series because I was told that it has a nice deep sound without any drone in the cab. I first installed it and put a down turn before the axle, it was loud and had a great tone but was a bit too loud in the cab for me. I went back and put the down turn after the axle using the bend from the original pipe. This made a world of difference! I still have the same nice sound outside but no drone inside. In fact, the only time I really hear it is when I step on it which is nice. I would definitely recommend this.

Sounds great! It's not super loud and droney. (Also my exit pipe is 3", factory was 2.5") It has a nice rumble at idle and gets a bit louder when you gas it. It's perfect. If you drive like a grandpa it's not too loud or obnoxious, but if you give her the beans she will rip. Especially when you go 100%. Only down side is when you are going uphill or towing and hold it around 3k rpm it can get a little annoying if your on a long trip.

Straight pipes were too loud, stock was too quiet. This Delta 50 is the ideal middle. V8 sound under throttle, no interior drone, deep idle. Perfect.

I bought this in addition to a K&N intake and a Poweraid Throttle Body spacer. I did this same setup (less the flowmaster) on my last vehicle (2009 Jeep Wrangler) and had good results. When I added these items to the "new to me Ford" I was actually pleasantly surprised with the improvement. The "whistle" is almost non-existent but the power is absolutely there. The low end torque created by the spacer and the high end power with the intake are perfectly paired with the Flowmaster. The truck sounds beefy but not obnoxious and I have seen gains from 14.8 to 17mpg in the first 600 miles. Note: the muffler was about 15" shorter than the stock. had to weld in an additional muffler pipe, but sounds great!

I’ve had several types of mufflers (and straight pipes) and for a daily driver this muffler is a good mix of noise levels. At idle the exhaust is load enough that you know it is there but also does not cause an excessive amount of interior noise. When you give it some gas a nice notable growl fills the air but quiets back down when cruising. I had a single chamber on before I installed this Delta flow 50 series and I couldn't talk to my wife without yelling at her with cruise control on at 75 mph.

They sound fine at idle, but get way too loud when coming off idle. Harsh crackling sound getting on the throttle. Nothing mellow about these. I put a pair of these on a stock 6L LQ4 LS motor with mandrel-bent 3" exhaust pipe. .Flowmaster labeled these "Moderate" . Too loud for my neighborhood/taste. Edit : I just installed a pair of Super 50 Series and they are less loud and harsh. They are not "Mild/stock" as Flowmaser lists them but they are more restrained than the 50 Series Delta flow

I sent this one back because it was lost in transit. I did install the exact same muffler sourced locally and was very happy with it.

Great product, seems durable and tough but surprised at the workmanship. Muffler was covered in splatter from manufacturing and welds looks porous. Great sound and fitment was no problem.

if ya want a muffler with a little growl and no in cab droning at higher rpms, the 50 Series is where its at for my 06 Avalanche or any SUV for that matter.
