GLU-BOT GLUE BOTTLE (16OUNCES)

A coworker turned me on to the Glü-bot about a year ago and I haven’t looked back. It makes gluing a breeze whether it’s a commercial project or a DIY weekend project. The nozzle allows you to get into tight spaces and the bottle can be held in any direction and still apply an even bead of glue. After about a year, they crap out from repeated use. The nozzle gets clogged with dried glue and eventually the interior gasket fails, but for the price I just order a few more every year. I’ll never glue with anything else ever again.

If you're a woodworker you've got to have this product. It's so much easier to use than a standard glue bottle, and the ability to use it upright has totally changed the way I glue things. It's cleaner and more efficient. Seriously, "splurge" a little—it's well worth it.

A must have for any carpenter. There are other versions of this that do not perform as well as this brand. Very happy with my Glu-Bot.

Overall this is a great glue bottle and if you frequently use glue for woodworking or crafting you should do yourself a favor and add this to your toolkit and stop fighting your glue bottle. However, I find myself sometimes having to squeeze harder than I should to get glue out, to the point where I have to use two hands. This usually means there's a bit of a clog, which is frustrating because other reviews made it seem like you'll never have a clog again. You will. There's air, there's glue, there's gonna be bits of hardened glue from time to time. BUT, the clogs are less serious than in the glue bottles glue usually comes in, so overall you wind up wasting less glue. That was a lot of times to say "glue" in one sentence.

I'd been fighting for years with plastic glue bottles. They're pretty functional, but invariably, you forget to clean the tip and the thing dries clogged, and you poke stuff down it, twist it, or crush it open with a pair of pliers. Or you give up and take the whole top off and dip in a stick to get the glue out. But this thing ... works so well! So simple, so perfectly functional! I love that you squeeze it and the glue moves up the neck, then settles back down when you're done, even if you forget the cap-on-a-string. Which, by the way, this doesn't stick to the glue and works great--plus there's a nipple on the cap to store it out of the way while you're working. Definitely, if you do a lot of working with glue, as I do in my shop, this thing is flat-out awesome.

This is hands down the best glue bottle that I've ever bought. Not having to struggle during a glue up with shaking glue towards the tip of the bottle is such a huge benefit with this bottle. Simply squeeze the sides and glue flows up towards the nozzle. The fact that you can also cut the nozzle to your desired flow is a plus as well. I'm surprised I haven't bought this sooner!

I always write something silly but this will be no different. This glue application device changed wood working, forever. The normally meek glue I use has become hyper sticky. The chemical bond is now almost mechanical as the glue dispensed from this magical sorcery has mythical properties now. It flows into shapes I have not before witnessed, spelling out ancient scrawls in sticky yellow chemicals, only to disappear as fast as they arrived as if smeared by the finger of some other-worldly being. The application of the highly viscous wood glue is easier from this than the bottles the factory produces and far more precise. The applicator tubes allow for precise and controlled application. I will buy a second for different glue.

This glue dispenser is perfect. I'm a tool minimalist. I don't want to fill my small shop with tools or accessories that take up space and I only use occasionally. For Tightbond Glue, I figured the bottle dispenser was all I needed. On a whim, I purchased this dispenser and immediately realized how much better it is than the bottle. First, the spout can be cut to the size you normally use....And the spout has a very flexible cap that keeps the glue from hardening, and when in use can be clipped on the lid, out of the way of the applicator spout. Moreover, the bottle design utilizes two compartments, so when you tilt the bottle, the second compartment holds some glue, making it quick to apply glue in repeated actions. No more waiting for glue to drop to the spout, or shaking the bottle to assist gravity... it's already there. Price is right. Buy it..
