Works in UDR7 for backup Internet
I bought this to use as a fall back for my UDR7. Main WAN is on my 1GB cable and the secondary WAN is a Verizon cellular back up internet. This adapter allows me to plug both in, so if/when cable goes out, the backup kicks in automatically.

1G Only. Not 100/10 compatible
Used in a trendnet switch. SFP works fine at 1G, although throughput not tested. SFP does not auto-negotiate down to 100 or 10, it only works at 1000, so if there are devices which you want to plug into a switch via RJ45 that work at 100 or 10, this SFP is not for you.
