The heart I received does not look like the pictures in the ad. The black looks like it was etched off only under the engraving so it is much lighter under the engraving, just does not look right to me. Also, be careful when typing in your personalization. I made an error and selected "left line" for both lines. Instead of having the personalization split so there is engraving on both sides of the heart as displayed in the ad it all seems to run together on 1 side. There should be more space in between the initials and the date.. Very disappointed with how the whole thing looks. For $70 I definitely expected nicer! Experienced craftsmen should do a better job.In addition, it came wrapped in 1 small piece of brown paper inside a padded envelope. They couldn't mail it in a box? Guess they figure iron won't break!I sent the company an e-mail on their website several days ago after I received this expressing my disappointment but did not get a response.Poor customer service on top of the poor craftsmanship.

The plate came in and exceeded the pictures on line. You can absolutely tell that the crafter takes pride in each one they make. Customer service was also stellar and production and shipping was fast!

I bought this as a 6yr wedding anniversary (surprise, it’s iron) gift for my wife and loved how it came out! I had custom engraving on both sides and it exceeded my expectations. If you’re on the fence, do yourself a favor and order a custom one, it was worth the extra $
