Awful Reboot
Haven't looked at a Spidey book in years but gave this a go as a free Prime read. Even for free it wasn't worth the price.Everything that made Spider-Man unique and relatable has been jetisoned in this reboot with Peter Parker now a wealthy Tony Stark-lite. A book so bad that the only surprise is that they didn't bring Uncle Ben back to life. (Has probably happened by now!).The writers have lost the character in the rush to rebuild Spider-Man with the traditional loser character, drowning in struggles and worries, replaced by a rich, jetsetting imposter with a never-ending supply of spider-gadgets . With great power comes great irresponsibity - the soul of the character has been lost in the process. Spider-Man is no longer Soider-Man or even unique - how many are there now? While other comic characters grew up with the readers, Spider-Man has lost his way.2 out of 5 at a stretch!

Amazing goes global
Witty script, great artwork, plenty of fun as the webslinger goes global with New York, Shanghai and outer space as backdrops. Slott is a decent writer and if this reader thought anything it was the book tries too hard at times to be new and different. Still, worth a read.

Fab humour and top-notch art as usual
Classic Spider-Man quips and slightly cringey humour. I loved it! Really nailed the character. The art was magnifique. Worth the read! Plus no gory, overly violent artwork, which made me happy. I recommend for ages 8+

Good decent read
Good read, typical spidey humour and good artwork. Story is a bit weird with the zodiac bad guys but worth it for the sub plots.

Great story
Haven't read Spiderman for years, nice reboot. Interesting take on Peter Parker's switch into his version of Tony stark, will definitely look for the earlier books
