Pacon 103029 Tru-Ray Construction Paper, 76 lbs., 9 x 12, Black, 50 Sheets/Pack

I'm making up "Chigger detectors" for our gardens and lawn. Supposedly if you have chiggers they will climb to the top of these black things within 10 minutes if you stake them out in your yard and gardens. I used 10 winter time driveway stakes, taping the construction paper to the stakes.

I thought for the price this was good paper. It held up for what I was using it for. I did not have any paper tear.

Good quality

This paper, to me, is darker and has more "body" than the construction type paper I got in the store locally. Not sure how long it will go before it fades (over time) but great for the projects I use it for.

Very thick black paper. No fading of color.

Needed heavy weight cardstock. Saw this and ordered it. It is not heavy weight cardstock. Felt more to me like the construction paper in elementary school. Not the right pick for my project.

i am on my desktop for a few hours every day with a flat screen in front of me-i play words with friends and there are ads and flashing 'garbage' on the sides and bottom of the page-i got this to cut in pieces and cover those places-it worked great!

I was looking for black paper for collage and wanted to create a white dotted pattern using a white acrylic paint pen but the paper absorbs the paint so I’d have to go over the dots multiple times to get them to show up. So this paper didn’t really work for my purpose. It is a nice deep black though.
