Terrific Seiko SKX007 replacement band
I purchased this to replace the OEM jubilee band for my Seiko SKX007 dive watch that broke after four years of daily use. Although the jubilee band is very attractive, these stretch, and the pins connecting the links are known to break or fall out. The MiLTAT oyster replacement band is heavy, beautiful under light, well built, and has better clasps than the original Seiko band. Installation was a little tricky, however much easier with a second pair of hands and took less than 10 minutes. Once on the watch, it looks like a factory watch band that was meant to come with the watch and fits perfectly. Further, removing a link to get a better fit was super easy with a tiny screw driver. Highly recommended and definitely an upgrade for this venerable, classic Seiko dive watch.

Stylish and Solid
I purchased this MILTAT Oyster bracelet for my Seiko SKX173 to replace the stock rubber band that would eventually crack and break over time (I've gone through three of them). I was quite surprised how, once the bracelet was affixed to the watch, it was instantly transformed from a "knock around" every day sport watch to a much more stylish timepiece that could easily be worn out to dinner as a dress watch as well as a sport watch. This bracelet is significantly more sturdier with a better fit than the stock bracelets found on my other Seiko watches. Refer to YouTube when installing the lugs which can take some time and patience as the band is precision fitted. The end result though is fabulous; there are absolutely no gaps at the lugs and everything is tight and comfortable. There is also a little "heft" to this bracelet which I prefer as opposed to lesser quality or hollow materials found in less expensive bracelets. Needless to say, I am very impressed with this bracelet and am in the process of replacing the stock bracelets on my other Seikos that I mentioned earlier.

We'll See - 5 years All is well
This is my second Stainless Steel Oyster bracelet for my Seiko dive watch. The first lasted almost exactly 2 years before it failed. The center pin of the hasp section sheared in two places. Turns out the center pin was hollow. Fortunately the locking mechanism on the hasp held it together until I took it off my wrist and I didn't lose the watch. The new SS Oyster bracelet (reviewed here) appears to be very similar in construction but is not an exact copy. Time will tell if the hasp on this one is higher quality than the last one. The links and the end links are solid and it appear to be well made. I removed one link to make it fit and the pins on the removable links are solid with threaded ends (as they should be). The end links fit the Seiko 007 perfectly and come with large spring bars. The folding hasp has a double lock and appears to be well made. In addition to the removable links, there are three locations available for the end link to attach to one side of the hasp which provides additional adjustment. There is no wet suit extension. I really like these Oyster style bracelets and purchased a second one after the first one failed prematurely. Hopefully this one has a better quality center pin. EDIT - 5 years of nearly daily use and all is well. This bracelet has proven to be superior to the one it replaced. I went back and gave it 5 stars. This is a durable product.

Excellent, sturdy, reliable
I installed this on my stainless steel Casio dive watch ($43) to replace the black plastic band. Now it looks like an expensive watch but I can wear it when I work in the garden or whatever. It looks like a million bucks. The lockable clasp has never popped open. It was a little difficult to install because it was designed for a different watch but once I got it on it has been solid. I also have an automatic Omega Speedmaster that is supposed to be waterproof but water got inside after swimming in the ocean for 10 minutes. Since that watch is worth thousands of $s I am much more comfortable wearing the Casio. I have a couple extra in case I break it, but it’s been 6 years already since I first installed the bracelet. I bought some extra ones so I can have a nice, clean, unscratched watch for daily wear and one that is a little beat up for when I need to do outdoor work. This bracelet has the features of bracelets that are on watches that cost thousands of $ but is extremely affordable. I’m very happy with them.

Very Nice Replacement Band
This is a very nice watch band and is much better than the "Jubilee" band which Seiko ships with the 007K2 dive watch. The solid links are fairly large and there are fewer of them, so the band isn't particularly flexible, but is still comfortable. The links are held together with screws, like on Rolex bands. These screws are vastly superior, in my opinion, to the pins on most other bands which must be driven out to add or remove links. The clasp is a thing of beauty and is even superior to the clasp on my Tag-Heuer's stainless band. A single link for my Tag band, by the way, costs half again as much as this entire band, so this band is really a pretty good deal. My complaints about this band are few: the end pieces did show some tool marks, which were hidden once the band was installed. The end pieces also had thin lateral "strands" of metal which were apparently left over from the machining process and had no obvious purpose. I removed them with a Dremel tool. Finally, the band was exceedingly difficult to install. I have some experience changing watch bands, but my technique must have been off for this one. I just couldn't get that last pin to drop into its hole. I finally had to resort to a brass punch and hammer. This may not have been the fault of the band, however, as the holes in the watch lugs might have been drilled incorrectly. I have no real way of knowing. This is a fairly wide band, tapering quickly from 22mm to 20mm, and might even be considered a little "chunky" by some. The Seiko 007 is a large watch and the band doesn't look out of place at all. However, if I had to order another band, I might consider switching to the band that tapers from 22mm to 18mm. This narrower band might offer a slightly more refined and graceful, and less "chunky," look.

Good band for the price, but....
Overall I think this is a good bracelet. I got it for a modified SKX173 (I had movement replaced and upgraded and had a sapphire crystal installed). I dont know if there are subtle body differences between the sks 007 and my watch (I thought there were not) or the end links (that attach to the watch) were just not machined properly but I couldnt get the pins to fully set until I filed off some of the metal on the edges. I was gonna knock a star for this but that wouldnt be fair since nowhere did I see that this band was for the SKX173 (Which might specifically exist but I couldnt find it). Once the file work was done which did nothing to the appearance of the bracelet, the pins sat nice and snug. They are beefy and of good quality. The screw pins that connect the links are a little thin (compared to my steinhart ocean 1 link pins, for example) but they are easy to adjust and seem like they will do the trick. I would overall consider this bracelet a significant upgrade to the rubber strap (That I never use because I use nato straps). At $60 and 10 minutes of file work to fit it, Im pleased.

Received with Scratched Links
Miltat makes a real nice bracelet and value for quality is outstanding. The brushed steel is nice and the bracelet feels heavy when wearing. This is a great affordable replacement for my SKX009 rubber strap. The solid end links fit well and was easy to install with the included spring bars. All but 1 screw was perfect. It was forced so the slot head was slightly deformed. I removed that link to fit my wrist, so the deformed screw will not be an issue. I would have awarded 5 Stars, even with 1 deformed screw, but I had to remove 2 Stars because of other issues. 1 Star removed... Inside my Amazon shipping carton, the bracelet, was encased in bubble wrap, but the wrap had a cut slit and was already torn open. Strange it was torn open. Inside the bubble wrap was a camouflage pattern Miltat bag with the bracelet inside. It was loose inside the this bag. 1 Star removed due to scratched bracelet. Normally, the bracelet should come with a thin tape across all the links to keep them from folding over and rubbing on the other links. It's supposed to be there. My bracelet had some scratches due to the protective clear tape missing. Some remnants of the clear tape were on the clasp only. Weird it would be shipped to me this way. I know that I will scratch the bracelet with normal wear, so I decided to keep it as is. This was my experience.

Hairy arm safe
I am hairy, and this bracelt does not pull my hair all. Every other bracelt i have ever worn would hurt me. I could not get this one to pull hairs even when I tried. 10/10. Fits my skx perfectly. Looks awesome. Super comfortable. Would definitely recommend to anyone with an SKX. If they make these for any other watches I have, I am going to buy it.

Heavy guy
Great quality, heavy as hell, and fit well with my SKX007, love to feel its weight on my wrist! Only one thing, the edge (inner side) of the end link a bit sharp, but I can not feel it wearing the watch. Looks great, feels great, absolutely worth the price!
